Yes it is, it's about savings and discounts, it's obvious within a full year that Plus saves you more money. I even showed you the IGN account that traks how much money you can save with it.ShadowMoses900No, it's not. I just asked you how "far off" XBL was compared to PSN+, as far as discounts go. You're turning this into something it is not Is it so hard to say "Yes, freedomfreak. XBL does offer an insane amount of discounts. I wasn't aware of this. Good to know."?
Far more? 'Cause from what I've seen PSN+ doesn't offer "far more", as far as this discussion goes.[QUOTE="freedomfreak"][QUOTE="ShadowMoses900"]
I didn't side step anything, simply pointed out that when you compare the two services PS Plus offers far more than XBL. Even with these deals you brought up, Plus still comes out on top by far, it saves you more money.
This is math, it is fact.
ShadowMoses900
How much money would you save with XBL Gold? Now how much money would you save with PS Plus? In one year.
The answer is obvious.
lol including free games again.[QUOTE="ShadowMoses900"]Yes it is, it's about savings and discounts, it's obvious within a full year that Plus saves you more money. Not justifying anything. You're going off-topic again. You showed me links that included psn+ discounts. Congrats, I guess. But that doesn't change the fact that XBL throws discounts at you every single second. Which you claimed they didn't, seeing as they are "far off" compared to PSN+ Dem circles.Pinnacle.im taking a little break from here....beback on jan 27.

Enormous sale for xbox is probably a dollar off.
Poor lems, they really have it bad.
Last year it was anywhere from 20%-50% off. So, that's more then a few dollars. You cows and hermits who are saying these things obviously don't own an XBox 360.[QUOTE="freedomfreak"][QUOTE="ShadowMoses900"]

Not really. You pay like $60 for PS+. You can at least get deals for XBL Gold. I paid $44 for the past 2yrs for XBL. PS+ does offer FREE game, but they are for games that are a year or more old. You can only play them as long as you keep paying for PS+. With M$, when the game is FREE, it's FREE to keep. I can get rip of XBL Gold and still play the FREE games offline. I've gotten free games from M$ including Undertow, Poker and Haunt, just to name a few.[QUOTE="Eddie-Vedder"]$1 sale >>>>>>>> $0 sale. [QUOTE="vashkey"]Nice! I knew my patience for the Walking Dead and Fez would pay off! Might pick up some of the games on demand provided they're cheap enoughblackaceThe Walking Dead was $5 an episode. Not sure how much lower they will go then that. They usually go with half off... So two dollar and fifty cent each? I'm not saying it was too exspenive I just knew they'd put it all on sale at some point so I held off. And I wanted to be able to play it all at once so I didn't want to buy it as it released.
No Stacking? No Costume Quest? I'll only pick up Dawnguard. I own the rest already.freedomfreak
I got both of those for free from PS+, but I agree it would be nice to get a deal on the XBLA versions.
Note, I was waiting for a lower price than the deals I've seen so far.

They've both gone on sale on xbox live several time, actually.Yes, they certainly have...but not low enough for me. I should have been more clear. I'm pretty picky when I already have copies of the games. I'm hoping this price point will be low enough to bite on.
I was waiting on a great deal for Mark of the Ninja. I saw a Steam deal, and now I want an XBLA deal. Hopefully, the price is low enough for me to bite.
Ironically, whatever I do buy I probably won't be able to get to until next year as I'm dealing with my backlog and don't have a lot of time.

I wany Journey to be cheap.

I've been waiting on Journey as well. :P
I will continue to wait, next move is Sony. I actually saw it used at a retailer, and it was priced to high because it came with Flow and Flower (which I own).
So, either Sony will drop that price, or I will just wait for used copies at retailers to get low enough to bite on. Afterall, it's very short like all their games.

I prefer physical as well, but that Journey package I saw was priced high with the assumption the consumer either loves Journey or doesn't have the other two games. I will get that when I can get a great price.
It would be a better deal for you, as you don't have any of those three games. Sony gave everyone Flow a few years back, that's how I got that one. Flower went on sale at some point. Journey though, it's popularity has kept the deals off of it.

You do realize that Sony doesn't run servers for ever game on the PS3 right. Many of the games are run by the developers servers. They can easily be shut down by the developers without Sony having any involvement. Especially since these developers aren't being paid to keep the servers up. I do pay for XBL so I am getting all my games online. If you stop paying for PS+ you don't get your FREE Game rentals. It's a service. The difference is the FREE games you get from M$ are you're to keep. They aren't rentals. That's what I'm telling you. You don't need XBL once you've downloaded them for FREE. You can play them offline. You can't do that with PS+ FREE games. You obviously tried to avoid the obvious. HOME and PS Online Magazine was a JOKE. Even if a game runs on p2p it still requires servers to run the online and match making features. There's more to it. This is why classic xbox games can't be played online despite being p2p. And servers have been shut down for certain games on both PS3 and 360 in the past such as the orignal Army of TwoPlease Log In to post.
