Entertainment Weekly picks 10 best games of the decade

Prepare for mad, but frankly it's not a horrible list at all. No Halo or Call of Duty's make it, but neither does Metal Gear Solid.

That's not too bad a list. Take off Wii-Sports and replace it with I dunno it's a pretty ok list.

That's actually a fantastic list. I think you need GTA3 on there, prob instead of Mass Effect, and it's pretty awesome.locopatho

I would've liked to see Super Mario Galaxy 2. But it is still a great list I almost agree with every game listed.

This. I saw the title and was thinking "what crap, it will be all Halo and CoD with no Half-life, Windwaker, or team ICO games" and then I was amazed at the relative astuteness of the list. It has a good number of games on there that will be referenced at great advances and accomplishments of the media form.

It's not a ranking, it's just the 10 best. They choose this 10 so people can vote which one they think is the best of the decade, and it will be announced in VGAs.

I disagree. Best games =/= games with the biggest impact. Going by that logic, 8 out of those 10 games should be called CoD.

The lack of the phenom trifecta known as Halo / Forza / Gears makes the list a fail list. :P

That's actually a pretty decent list, maybe i would personally put in there GTA San Andreas instead of Batman or Mass Effect 2.

Get rid of Mass Effect and Bioshock. No idea what to replace them with, there are a lot of good candidates. Definitely RE4.

Replace Wind Waker with Resident Evil 4, and you got yourself a solid list.drinkerofjuice

I forgot RE4...but i wouldn't take out Windwaker, that game is such an artistic acomplishment that it totally deserves to be there.

You know what? That isn't half bad for one of these lists. Arkham City and Wind Waker are a couple of the only 10s I've ever given out.

Yes, i laugh at Wii Sports, just like i would laugh at any kinect game, if they were on the list. It had impact, no doubt, but unlike the games i posted, it's far from one of the best games from the last 10 years.
