Oh, I see, goes to show I should actually read the article.

Now that I read it, the Shadow of the Colossus and a few other games seem decently justified (I always get chills reading about SotC, every damn time), but I still can't support Red Dead or Wii Sports on the list. You're right, not over GTA III, VC, SA, Halo 1, 2 (eh...), or 3 (most deserving IMO), and lots of other games.

Then I would throw in my old wild cards like Uncharted 1, DXHR, Prince of Persia 2008, etc.

Well, in all fairness, I was entertained. That got a hearty laugh out of me.

What a god awful list! Absolutely terrible if I've ever seen one.. How can they be THAT wrong? My personal opinion could bring forth a better list than that. No Metal Gears, and no Grand Thefts? Is this a joke or what?

Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy X, Diablo 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, Devil May Cry, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, TESIV: Oblivion, SSX3, SSX Tricky, Tekken Tag

But factually, the best games of the generation would be:

1. Metal Gear Solid 4

2. Half Life 2

3. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

4. Uncahrted 2

5. Grand Theft Auto III

Umm, I think you should ammend this post to reflect the fact that they have yet to list any specific order of the games. they are just ten radnomly listed games until a number one is voted. otherwise it's just confusing people and they are thinking that Batman is the Number 1 game.

That being said I personally agree that Wind Waker should be the number one game.

Also I think Halo should have made the list of nominees.

No halo, cod, gears, or uncharted....not bad. I expected them to make some super kiddy list and include atleast one of those..but they didn't.

Pretty crappy list, especially ME2 and Wii sports.

Just beat Arkham City and it's a great game I give a 9, but not worthy of that position.

my list (need to play some great games from this gen and older still)

Was very hard to make, given SMG2, SSX3, and Battlefield, among others. I was going more by my scores than anything.
