Bottom line is MGS4+MGO are together and of the same and = one AWESOME experience! 10/10 or 100%

The only problem is and the most common one and I agree is the Konami ID crap. But after you're initial set up its all good.

MGO is going to be a separate game.

Keywords are "going to be".

It's still months away from release. I don't really know why they made a review about a game that hasn't launched yet.

Anyways, I just don't agree with their scores, and since I'm on gamespot systemwars I can completely ignore them.

So your saying GTA4 deserves a 10 but MGS4 cant? Cause it seems like u are pretty angry at MGS4 geting a 10 which it deserves. Play the game and u will understand just how amazing the game is and is the best next gen game I have played thus far.

It's only a difference of opinion. It clear that some people love it, and some don't.

And just because a Eurogamer reviewer gave the game an 8, it doesn't mean it's any less of an honest review than this "new" one.

I do agree that reviewers have there opinion but when u dont state good facts to back up your reasons for a great game and are just nit picking to lower the score, that is just bullsh!t. I can nitpick any of the great games if I wanted to as a reviewer, but why do that if the game is amazing and everyone loves the game? Who knows maybe more hits on there site? Maybe a fanboy? Because thats how it looks especially seeing that they gave halo 3 a 10. U agree with that score from eurogamer?

MGO is already out and its packaged with MGS4 on the MGS4 disc.

At the end of the review he says overall MGS 4 and MGO combined is 15/20=7.5. these guys are looking for attention, read the first line of the review.abdu4

i never played halo 3, and like GTA or Metal gear i have no opinion on whether or not this game deserves a 10, i have just said why i think that it is now easier to achieve a 10 then it was before.

Outside of PS3 or both console owners, MGS4 will go down as one of the most "Love to hate" game in gaming history. Most of the comments are coming from people who have never even played the game......Like..."Isnt MGO on a seperate disk?"

Unlike GTAIV, a game that has flaws that was pointed out in all of the reviews, no reviewer gave MGS4 a flawed review. I normally take review scores as a grain of salt, but this is the only game review the i agree with 100%

Thats like saying Warhawk hasnt been released yet because there are still more expansions that still need to come out. Or that Halo 3 MP that shipped on the disc os only 50% of the MP because it doesnt have the DLC. Whether they release a standalone of MGO with DLC later on i dont really know. But the MGO that is on the MGS4 disc is the ccomplete STANDARD version of MGO. Its all you need.

I basically agree with everything said in the review. It's fun, but it truly feels like a patch on top of the Beta, where I thought we were getting a full fledged title. I will not be buying a retail version of MGO if it is released.

For anyone wondering most matches, have turned into twitch fragfests, set in the MG world. I don't see very many people trying to sneak around whatsoever, nor much of a reason to do so, outside of Snake mode.

MGS 3's online feel just like MGS4 online. I really liked 3's online.

Yeah.. no. It isn't going to happen, Metal Gear Online is as it is, included in Metal Gear Solid 4, it's only getting DLC in the future. Not a re-release.

Wow, the beta was at the end of APRIL (as opposed to the 10th of April news you have), so I think the info I read (which isnt online now because the beta premiere website is down) isn't there anymore. But it's what it said.

So yeah...

New>Old. Anyways, as Thrones said, there's the possibility it doesn't get re-released. But guess what, maybe at the end of the year they release it with all the bugfixes and content created through the year not making you waste any HDD space, for example. And for someone taht didn't buy the expansions, it could be a deal.

And I swear I read it in the premiere website (End of April-Mid May). It clearly stated that MGO would be released aroudn the end of 2008. I have nothing to back my info up as the website was taken down. I'll just keep searching until I find it, because I'm not lying.

Of course you will eb able to obtain the full package through expansions so you dont have to buy it when it gets released. But as I said, they just can't review it alone...yet.

Wow, the beta was at the end of APRIL, so I think the info I read (which isnt online now because the beta premiere website is down) isn't there anymore. But it's what it said.

So yeah...

New>Old. Anyways, as Thrones said, there's the possibility it doesn't get re-released. But guess what, maybe at the end of the year they release it with all the bugfixes and content created through the year not making you waste any HDD space, for example. And for someone taht didn't buy the expansions, it could be a deal.

And I swear I read it in the premiere website (End of April-Mid May). It clearly stated that MGO would be released aroudn the end of 2008. I have nothing to back my info up as the website was taken down. I'll just keep searching until I find it, because I'm not lying.

I'm pretty sure it's not getting rereleased, tbh ¬.¬

because there hasnt been a 10 in 7 years

because the review team changed

because the review system changed

because i find it an awefull coincidence that 2 games launched in a two months difference to be a 10

because a 10 is no longer a perfect game, it is a "prime game" since gamespot said and i quote "it is impossible for a game to be perfect so we just go with as close as a game can get"

Even with the change of the review system in gamespot, a 10 is still going to be hard to achieve and even if gamespot does have alot of 10's IGN and many other game sites is going to be hard to achieve a 10 unless the game blows the reviewers minds like MGS4 and GTA4 has done. Fact is MGS4 is still getting great scores and it is an exclusive game where as GTA4 was almost given a 10 because it was multiplatform. Guarantee u if GTA4 was timed exclusive for the ps3 first, I dont think it wouldve gotten many 10's as we see it now.

Also wanted to add that yes not many 10's are thrown around in a few months but u gotta remember GTA is one of the biggest selling games in the industry and MGS has one of the greatest devs in the gaming industry, Hideo Kojima so it isnt something shocking because getting a perfect 10 can be accomplished by both these 2 company's. Its not like they both cant achieve it. These are 2 top of the line companys were talking about here. So u gotta give them some credit for delivering 2 top of the line titles.

They have two reviews for HL2 PC.

Wow...whatever floats your boat. FYI, a lot of reviewers reviewed MGO with MGS4. Like GS, they included MGO in the MGS4 review, so it's already been reviewed

Imagine they just launched a Halo 3 multiplayer only disc at the end of this year, with all the DLC they planned and all the fixes, character slots for free and all. Would they review the game now? It would make no sense to review it until it gets released.

In other words, I have been saying im against this stupid review of Eurogamer.

im not saying that it will be easy to achieve a 10, i am saying that it the 10 has become easier to achieve, in my opinion people have become so defensive about what i am saying that they have forgotten this very simple side to it

Why can't they both be honest? After all, people have different views about the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
