Even MS fanboys usually admit PS3 is better than Wii

For all the fighting I can honestly say I am glad there are two companies that are trying to bring games the the core crowd.

Competion = Better games for us all.

I think even though PS3 may be 3rd this gen, most MS fanboys would admit PS3 is much more appealing than Wii.

Also only the most foolish cows would say Wii and its 3-4 decent games are better than 360.

Sheep, remember this: Just because Britney Spears or Insync sold the most albums some years to the tween market, doesn't mean they should be going to the music hall of fame or that it is even any good.

One of my fears is that the next xbox will have minimal upgrades and follow the path of the Wii.

There's the stupidity clause. "Good" entertainment usually require a well-thought out production which the end result is intelligent, innovative, and timeless. "Fads" takes a innovative idea created by those lesser known artists and dumb it down for the masses i.e. Temptations = Nsync, Teenie Marie = Britney Spears, Woody Allen = Micheal Bay, etc... Sames goes for gaming, too.

Why though? The Wii has more great exclusives than the PS3, and why would 360 fans care about the PS3's multiplats since they can play the same version on their console already...

To be honest anyone who mocks the Wii for having no good games is just a boring person who follows the words of everyone else to fit in rather than forming their own unique opinion on the subject.

I have a nasty feeling that will happen. Because it looks like the PS4 will be fairly spec-heavy seeing as Crytek are already interested in it and called it the "most important console of the next gen". It's weird how they haven't mentioned the next Xbox which will likely be out sooner.

thats the thing though. there are people who will fight tooth and nail with anyone who says that the artist they like isnt good or is a fad. whats good and bad will vary from person to person, since there is no official standard of quality for music. as the old saying goes, one mans trash is another mans treasure. the masses will feel that their choice in music is just as valid as anyone elses.

personally i think it is more enjoyable than the PS3, it has many more games that apeal to me.i mean, the xbox and PC have enough generic racing and shooters, why would i need a ps3? and so far this gen the good JRPGs are x360, and all WRPGS seem to be on PC, the wii is the little bit o' everything console

I wholeheartedly agree. But, I am noticing a SCARY trend where both Sony and Microsoft are starting to appeal more and more to the casual market, and thats in thanks to the Wii.

In my opinion, that leaves folks like you and me hanging out high and dry. Its not a drastic pull away from games we tend to like more.... YET. But given time, this is going to hurt alot of gamers that just are NOT interested in Dr. whatever-pet collector-cutesy-blah blah... Those type of games have their crowd, and thats fine. Heck, my kids like games like that, and thats fine, too. But when those type games take the forefront, and the casual market wants to shower those games with money, then it garners attention, and in the long run will leave us lacking. I truly hope I am wrong on this, but I have a bad feeling I'm not.

That's not a stretch to say. LBP has more 'Nintendo' in it (if you will), than any of the Nintendo games I've seen so far this generation. Truly unique and revolutionary.
