Yes, INFAMOUS' evil karma story is better than MGS4.

You dont have to play through 3 games from 2 previous gens to "get it". It's simple, but at the same time has amazing twists and turns. A lot of "ohhhhh now I understand" moments.

Infamous is a great game and I'm playing through my first evil karma story... but saying its better than mgs4's story is not quite true.DBhova23

Okay Mass Effect's story is better then inFAMOUS, prove me wrong.

You are overly excited, the story is amazing but it's no where near MGS4's.

Mass Effect had a better story too.

One question, you start the game with an explosion and Cole gets these superpowers but we didn't experienced how he learned to use them?

In almost every superhero comic/movie( marvel, DC...etc) they take the story slower than inFAMOUS by introducing the viewer/reader to the hero's background and how they got theirsuperpowers and how they learned to use them, another example the TV series heroes.

In inFAMOUS it just fast farward us to day 14 or something, thats just one thing I didn't like in the story.

Mass Effect's storyline is much better, heck even Lost Odyssey and Fallout 3 :P. That's just my opinion though.

That'snot saying much consideringMGS4's story was kinda not that good; nano this nano that and the ending was disappointing. I wanted to see him rest in peace.MGS3 was definitely the series best in that regard.

Saying the story of Infamous is better than that of MGSIV or Bioshock (especially Bioshock; Ayn Rand and objectivism are both ridiculous) is like saying The DaVinci Code is a better work of fiction than Ulysses or that Citizen Kane was worse than Slumdog Millionaire; it's just not true. There are stories and then there are works, and Infamous is a story.

its all opinion, and i've yet to play through the entire game, but Bioshock comes to mind. Condemned 2 was pretty solid, too, IMO.clone01

Mass Effect, Mask of the Betrayer, The Witcher, Valkyria Chronicles, Dead Space, BioShock, The Darkness, etc., etc., all had better stories IMO.

I hope you're joking. Although I haven't played the evil story arch, the characters in inFamous are so bland and the "moral" choices so laughable that there's no way it could crack a top 25 list, let alone be the best.

I see you haven't played many games this gen

I have only played through good so far, will be going bad once i collect all the shard and deaddrops and what not. I will say it is not the most complex game, the best looking, or anything, its just one really well made game. The story line or voice acting isnt amazing, but its good. Nothing is cheesy or over the top, its very level. I like it so much because it doesnt try to throw all this drama in your face like mgs or try to go for something huge. Everything is just right, you end up caring for the characters, the choices you make arent black and white, they actually are hard to make. For example the first mission you do in the historic distric comes to a decision at the end of the mission and i had to actually pause the game and think about what i wanted to do. I wouldnt say its the best story this gen, but its one of the most well made games this gen, you can tell the devs at sucker punch put alot of love into this game.

The Darkbrotherhood story line from Oblivion is the most incredible story line this gen.
