Honestly... I like the WiiFit.

BUT, showing us acircular piece of plastic the "Wii Wheel", and the "Wii Zapper", yet ANOTHER plastic housing for the wii-mote... that was sort of chuckle worthy to me.

Judging by your banner and your pic you know a great game when you see one.

JSRF probably my fav game ever gotta play the original sometime :D

I'm really not trying to bash Nintendo. I'm very interested in their lineup. But taking time out of the conference to show us plastic attachments for the wiimote made me groan.

I did'nt mean to suggest you were nintendo bashing, I just wanted to say something about JSRF :D

[QUOTE="Miyomatic"]Go cry somewhere else. Nobody here cares. :|agrippi

I do.

I can't believe that some Nintendo fansare hyping WiiFit.

So nintendo fans cant enjoy wiifit? since it too gimmicky? grow up and stop WORRYING WHAT PEOPLE LIKE OR NOT

I didn't say people can't enjoy it, I'm sure some will. But it is a gimmick. It's for people who want to feel like they are doing something for their health by putting in the minimalamount of effort.

Do I need the WiiFit board to do pushups? If you want to get your blood pumping than you are better off getting DDR, with WiiFIt you'll barely break a sweat steping on and off the board.

first, most casuals who are my age or older (30+) are NOT going to ever play DDR. it is way too freaking hard AND it appears too much like a game. the health benefits are not nearly as apparent as with wii fit.

secondly, if you think that wii fit won't be a SMASH HIT, then you are sorely mistaken. do you remember a title called brain age? are you familiar with how many copies that game has sold? wii fit is the exact same product, but just geared towards physical exercise instead of mental exercise.

will it make you an olympian...no. but, did brain age make anyone a genius? no. point is, people will buy it, use it and enjoy it. do you NEED the game and board to do pushups? no, but it provides an entertaining way to work out, but even moreso, it provides you with visuals to track your progress. people love data nowadays. don't you read these boards? does NPD sound familiar?

with your rationale, all sports games should sell horribly as well. you also have a football laying around your house probably and a group of friends too. but, do you play madden? why? you don't need the game, right?

1) I wasn't talking about casuals or the difficulty of the game, my point is that DDR gives you a better work out and much faster, because you whole body needs to move if oyu want to play that game. The health benefits are greater than that of WiiFit.

2) Where have I mentioned anything about sales? See, Brain Age is fun, easy to play, and you can take it anywhere, butWiiFit requires work. No, it wont be a "SMASH HIT" like brain age

3)I never even mentioned any of that stuff, why bring it up?

Anyways, Brain Age wont make anyone a genius, it's just a fun game to help you keep your mind sharp, butany puzzle game can help you with that if you don't have Brain Age.The results withWiiFit will be sosmall that you are muchbetter of getting an excersie video.

People like looking at data, where did you gett that idea from?Nobody likes to look at charts figures or whatever, unlessthere is astrong reason. This is the lamest thing I've heard.

Btw, what stopsthem from using pen and paper to recordtheir progres? Afterthey finish a set, theycan justtake one sec to jot the number down. Everyone counts their reps, how else would you know when to stop?

4) WiiFit is not like other sports games, the difference is pretty obvious, you should know, you are hyping it.
