i support Wii but i gotta say the graphics on Wii is nothing impressive. yet, i can't wait to play games like Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3.

i don't know why people complain and complain and COPMLAIN god it's like they have nothing better to do, the success of the Wii is nice it will bring awesome 3rd party support but in the end the games are coming for all systems so why can't we just have fun with them?

is a console that will die down eventually. The controller will eventually hit a limit, same with graphics to. The Wii is not that great regardless if its selling like hot cakes. At the moment, i still prefer Xbox 1 over the Wii, and dont give me this "but but teh controller", its cool having a new controller that is innovative, but it gets tiring. Wii is nothing more than a secondary console, well, in my books, a console that will be played once a month when i have friends over. If the graphics were better, i would have atleast enjoyed it a bit more, but playing this on my HDTV makes it look like PS1 game, and it aint even funny. WTF is up with the controller aswell, u just get the wiimote with it? you have to fork out more money for the added nun chuck to. The console is NOT that great. The online aint all that either. Theres no "wow" factor to the console. Its gamecube with a new controller, thats all.

Innovation for innovation's sake or fun for fun's sake, I'll let you decide. Innovation doesn't make a game fun. And why is everybody starting to think that games can't be fun without the motion sensing. What have we been doing for the past 20 years, boring ourselves to death with games?

I can just imagine how badly the game would stutter if they had the amount of characters on screen like Lair and Kameo. It would be laughable. Wii has many limits, it hasnt provided anything new that couldnt be done on last gen consoles.

of course i choose my words carefully!!!, it's the key of winning arguments ;).anyway, hardcore gamers, casual gamers, and everyone else will have the same reaction when they "will" know about Wii's true capabilities, it's obvious that Wii has inferior graphics inspite of whether or not the consumer knows the power, and quite frankly, they are acting just as the hardcore gamers did, THEY didn't care, and they never will, i believe the same goes for the casual gamer, as long as the games have the appeal, the system will sell, do you honestly think if Wii sports and TP weren't at launch that the Wii would still sell like hot cakes?
BTW i don't remember metroid actual screenshots but i do remember fanmade artwork, i think it was samus in morph ball battling a monster or something, but i do remember mario shots, and starfox shots.

yeah, games will get tiring, but the console will have it limits, and so will the controller. Wii is nothing more than a secondary console, well, in my books, a console that will be played once a month when i have friends over. If the graphics were better, i would have atleast enjoyed it a bit more, but playing this on my HDTV makes it look like PS1 game, and it aint even funny. WTF is up with the controller aswell, u just get the wiimote with it? you have to fork out more money for the added nun chuck to. The console is NOT that great. The online aint all that either. Theres no "wow" factor to the console. Its gamecube with a new controller, thats all.
Tell them that, their excuse EVERYTIME is that any game will fit long as you degrade the graphicsSheep these days.
I can just imagine how badly the game would stutter if they had the amount of characters on screen like Lair and Kameo. It would be laughable. Wii has many limits, it hasnt provided anything new that couldnt be done on last gen consoles.
funny how you should mention kameo, as far as i'm concerened it was a GC title first, X360 title second :)Therefore Too Human on PSone wouldve been just as good as the new Too Human using Unreal 3?no, but kameo is doable on the GC :|, of course with less graphics, also i read somewhere that some PS2 title managed to cram 10,000 people in 1 screen, that says something

You're assuming people buy the Wii as an informed decision, knowing what it's like to play an Xbox 360 or a PS3 online - or even want that sort of thing. My little sister wants a Wii, my 23 year old girlfriend wants a PS3, my fifty-six year old father likes the Wii, my 14 year old brother wants an Xbox 360, yet has a Wii because he and my youngest brother went in on it - but he's really dissapointed with the games.
What use does my little sister have for HD graphics or online play? She plays webkinz and the sims 2 mostly, the Wii is right for her - but if you're trying to claim you've made some kind of hardcore victory, that your product offers fun *to me* or that the opinions of millions of non-gamers are what should define the industry, you're out of your mind.
The attach rate and games catalog is largest on one system - the Xbox 360 - it is the system for hardcore gamers, based on the number of games people are buying for it, based on the *types* of games that come out for it, and the content of those games. The PS3 is a system for niche gamers, look at the games coming, look at the hardware, it's a niche system, aimed at the techno-savvy, definately for the ****c japanese ****gaming fan.
And we've got the Wii, aimed at the masses, pretty weak, lots of little "fun" minigames and stuff, not really any hardcore games - it's like the toyota corolla of the gaming world - a cheap little consoles from overseas that people pick up because they need to get around every now and then.
I keep seeing you Wii fans pretend the masses know what's best, and that makes me amused. Just think of what half of the US has voted for in the past - or how many times in the past the masses went along with something utterly stupid (smoking used to be something everyone did, even when we knew it was bad)... I'm not saying the Wii causes cancer, just that it's a non-gamer's console and you shouldn't take mass support to mean that it's good. I mean - need I point out Madden has sold millions of copies? How about every subpar game based on a movie that sells a few hundred thousand? Sales != Quality.
