This thread is still going? It simply isn't true. The entire idea is bullshit. Bethesda and Id have ALWAYS been multiplatform developers. There is absolutely no reason to many any core game exclusives to Xbone especially when it isn't clear that Xbone will have a core gamer audience at all. As of now, things look really grim for the Xbone's future with core gamers.
If this is true it would hurt. Not buying a XBOne no matter what so hopefully it's a) not one of the 15 games b) not an Obisidian Fallout game or c) a timed exclusive giving Bethesda more time to fix what undoubtedly will be a game filled with bugs.

Not buying it... Fallout is too big of a franchise... The next fallout will do 5+ million copes sold... No way Bethesda goes for a timed exclusive and no chance they give up multiplat on their second biggest franchise... It would be a megaton of epic proportions but hell no....

A bit of advice. Never buy one on release day and always wait about 6 months. Not to save money because of the price dropping, but because you want to let them patch the game a few times because every game Bethesda releases is a buggy mess. They have a bad habit of releasing their games still in beta form.
It's a beloved PC franchise. PC gamers would literally burn down Bethesda.Â
It might be a "console" Xbone exclusive, as in nbo PS4 version, but a PC/Xbone release. Most likely though it'll just be like CoD. It'll be out on all platforms but the Xbone idiots will get timed DLC.
It just makes no sense. The money they would throw away from not having a PC and PS4 version, hundreds of millions of dollars, it's just not something Microsft would pay.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are my favorite games ...of all time! If this is true, FO4 alone would be enough to get me to buy the X1. Reagrdless if it's exclusive or not, I have a suspicion we will see Fallout 4 at E3 and that's exciting! :D

Both methods have the same end goal, the game only being available on their platform. The latter option being lazier but not immoral or underhanded.
Like I said before I doubt this will happen But just imagine the MS conference is near the end and then the lights go out and all you hear is the famous fallout 3 opening "War......War never changes" followed by the trailer for Fallout 4. It would be far bigger then even stuff like FF going multiplat.

Had nothing to do with not liking Sony and everything to do with the PS3 architecture. Not an issue with the PS4.

Bethesda funding a triple A rpg sequel on next gen tech and it's gonna be exclusive only on the XBox? or even only exclusive to the xbox and PC? 1% chance that's legit. Timed exclusive at best, and I doubt that as well.
