Yes and no. The thing is that zero PS5 games are selling well, and the reason shortages are so bad is because Sony isn't really trying. Shipping so few that it's behind PS4 and not keeping up with Wii U means that they probably don't care. Japan also has limited space for most people, and PS5 is enormous.

IM WITH JAPAN IM A NINTENDO KID and i always be a nintendo kid toys r us tons of video games thats all there is from video games to sushi and tons of friends.

@techhog89: You make it seem that the Japanese are packed like sardines based on where they live. Is it the reason they have limited space is becase too many of them live in the major cities (which by the way, increase the cost-of-living), while at the same time the rural areas continue to hollow out?

Just do some research on Japanese apartments. It's really bad in a lot of Tokyo and I believe some other cities, and is the real reason for why handhelds have been so popular.

That said though, Sony neglecting Japan is definitely the bigger issue.
