SE doesn't have unlimited resources, that means that other games have been delayed, like FFVs14. Also, many have speculated that design choices have been compromised resulting in a different FFXIII that what we have today.

This was a funny reaction considering it was about getting free stuff.

Well the idea is that its free so people should to but grateful which in a sense I do agree. However the point of these prizes is ultimately corporate attempts to encourage more software being purchased so its not done from the good of their heart either. I just think that when you launch a multiplatform game, you are more inclined to please your fanbase if they can decide the prize themselves. Its literally nothing to the company to let the winner pick one system over another and feed their little fanboy obsession. Flip side again is that if a company is sponsoring the event, they do have the right to choose and since this is clearly MS sponsored, why would they want to encourage Sony sales? (Sigh, coporate marketing is such a scam and so money hungry)

I should be clear. I don't actually "know" it was MS sponsored. I just think the way that FF13 has played out points to MS sponsoring the event. They want SE support so they want FF13 to be successful on the 360. It points to them being the sponsor atleast imo. I mean its really a silly situation because for all we know the store makes more profit off the PS3 and so they wanted to give out a free 360 instead. Its really useless to conspiracy theory but this is just my guess. I should make that clear.

Secondly. I know why Square moved Final Fantasy to the PS1 due to the limitations and the same can be said for the Metal Gear series. The point was though the article stated: "Keep in mind, the fans were "hardcore" final fantasy fans." If that was the case they would have been doing the same in the transition of Nintendo to Sony. They didn't so they are hypocritical.

DVD matters on the Gamecube aside, sinceFinal Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and MGS: Twin Snakes says otherwise, I am disappointed in Nintendo for back then not complying with third party developers to make heed of storage needs back in the day, and I have no gripes playing the final fantasy games on my PS3. I was just making fun of the idiots that booed.
