There has been an update for the situation:
[QUOTE="IGN"] Updated 6/27/11: The Amazon.com pre-order campaign for Xenoblade/Monado resulted in the game becoming #1 on the website's pre-order list. Additionally, Nintendo has informed me that it is aware of the "Missing Wii Games"/Operation Rainfall movement and that it will have a statement on the matter. At the moment I don't have definitive word on when that statement will arrive. bbkkristian

Absolutely no emotion in the statement from Nintendo and its really hard to figure out what their answer will be. :?
Let's hope they actually give us a proper heads up soon.I'll be looking at ign alot to see when Nintendo gives their response to the "missing Wii games." I just hope that the response comes sooner, rather than later, and that its an answer that actually tells us "they are coming" or "no, we will not bring them" rather than an answer that is basicly dodging the question.

All you people whining for this game better buy it if it gets released. if it comes out and flops you kill the chances of us getting games in the future.WreckEm711
I'll be getting xenoblade for sure, though I have not preodered since I dont have a job or a credit card. Since I have a pocket full of money, I'll get it when it launches.
kill the chances of us getting games in the future.WreckEm711Why is that a worry when NA isn't even getting the games RIGHT NOW? I'm in Europe though, love those guys who work at NoE, got a good head on their shoulders. :P

Last Gen Nintendo of America was great and localized a lot of great games and Nintendo of Europe I heard people complaigning about not getting localized games.
This Gen Nintendo of America is the one not localizing games and Nintendo of Europe is localizing a lot more games.
Is this a prequel or a sequel to XenoGears? Because only games that are connected to XenoGears should have Xeno in a game.DevilMightCryThey named it Xenoblade because it is the same director of Xenogears and Xenosaga.
They named it Xenoblade because it is the same director of Xenogears and Xenosaga. That's cool. But unless it's connected to the Xeno games I don't see why he's attaching the Xeno name to it, other than to attract Xeno games fans. And this is a Qiu game? Any combat similarities to XenoGears?[QUOTE="DevilMightCry"]Is this a prequel or a sequel to XenoGears? Because only games that are connected to XenoGears should have Xeno in a game.Nintendo_Ownes7

It's just a name and yes Nintendo wanted to put the Xeno name in Xenoblade to interest Xeno Fans.
Just like The Last Story sounds like Final Fantasy and oh look the guy who made Final Fantasy made The Last Story.
waiting is a killer, I wish nintendo would just tell us already, rather than waiting till later in the day... or until friday.

Indeed, it's not big deal, I respect the game directors decision on this one.I honestly wish this came to NA on Wii and PS3 and I wish they continued Xenosaga. Young_CharterIt can't go on PS3.
Here's something to make the wait for a response a tiny bit harder
laus_basic
Man that red CCpro would look sooooo goooood with my 25th anniversary wiimote :D!
I honestly wish this came to NA on Wii and PS3 and I wish they continued Xenosaga. Young_CharterNintendo owns Monolith.
Its like the Monster Hunter Tri Bundle!
I WANT THIS GAME!
also man there's a lot to update....
Canadians can now Pre-Order the game.
Monando is Falling down to 4th to 5th.
We just need to keep it in the top 20 till Saturday to leave a Mark on Amazon. I would be nice if it stays on the Top 5.
Wow, that really sucks it's falling. I hope Ninty says something soon.
I lol'd at the Reggie puc above though :P
If Xenoblade localization is successful I'm curious to see how things will go from there. After all, a lot of big upcoming RPGs for other platforms may not be getting localized either. If the West doesn't get Tales of Xilia, Valkyria Chronicles 3, Fire Emblem DS 2, Miles Edgeworth 2, etc. a lot of people are gonna be disappointed. Who knows though, maybe fans will be more likely to speak up after this campaign... at least I hope they will. Not introducing new series is one thing, taking away existing ones is another. It's getting to the point where some Eastern devs are giving up on America. We need to convince them not to.
Something tells me Nintendo is going to wait till friday to tell us anything about this, so we are going need to rally everyone up again and keep on pushing so that this thing doesnt die prematurely.
We need these games!

Faithful members are looking at twitter facebook for Operation Rainfall.
also look at the Pages of Xenoblade, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower on Gamesites to make it rise on Gamestats.
I'd definitely buy a Wii U if Nintendo greenlit Xenosaga IV. The sad part is, there couldn't be a better time for a Xenosaga IV. But it'll never happen. *sigh*

Nintendo asked them to rename it after the Xeno games to attract/troll Xeno fans.
But for some reason, GameSpot does not. I wonder why.Gamepro made a cover on the Story.
IGN made a Podcast over it.

Fortunately this is getting attention in Japan and if this is successful then maybe Japanese developers will stop trying to "please" gamers in the Western market and be reassured that their games do have an audience in the WestIf Xenoblade localization is successful I'm curious to see how things will go from there. Don't know. IGN reports it because they feel responsible because it originated from their Forums.
Actually yeah, Why didn't Gamespot make a Story? It was #1 on freakin' Amazon.com that's actually pretty big.
...and this thread fell all the way to the fourth page. C'mon. I know there isn't much to talk about since we're waiting to hear from Nintendo, but if no one says anything and new people don't join in all momentum will be gone and the campaign will essentially die :(

Nintendo needs to respond already!
I sware if they wait until friday to respond, the response better be "I can see that your bodies are ready. I hope your wallets are ready." and it better come with some other news to just to sweeten the day.

Despite what you say, the Thread may have left the 1st page in Gamespot, That doesn't mean that it isn't getting support.
