Well lucky for me alot of high profile JRPG releases get walkthroughs and FAQS fast. Xenoblade was no exception. I played through it with some NeoGaf memebers, same with The Last Story.

I thought it was great game plagued with minor issues here and there. Another Lost Odyssey type situation but in this case the battlesystem was something fun and new.

Id say Sakaguchi definitely has something up his sleeve with this game.

I pre-ordered it. I'll be buying it from a physical store if it actually does come out, but at least I'm doing something. :P

There is a reason for region locking. Actually two that I can think of.

1. It lets developers keep track of localization for budgetary purposes. When people buy non-localized or localized games that are out of region, developers don't know who's playing their games. This was probably much more important back in the day, when games were less language centric.

2. So that gamers can't buy outside their region to avoid higher prices / taxes.

It sucks, but there are regions for region locking. It may seem behind the times, but as of now Sony is the only one who isn't on the region locking train.

1. That is true, but at the same time it can be interpreted as undermining the money they spend on localizing if you're not even going to buy the localized version anyways. I'm not saying this is reasonable or even a modern concern amongst most developers, but it is a concern I can see them having. As for Xenoblade, of course it shouldn't matter. But this could be part of why consoles like Wii and Xbox 360 are region locked.

I just posted about this on imvu using their pulse thingy (its like the status update thingy on facebook, except everyone can see it). Alot of people who are gamers use imvu, so Im hoping that the right gamers (the people who own the Wii) see my post. I also hope that my post isnt mistakened for spamming. How is it possible people find negative things about the way Nintendo fans are approaching this? By calling it childish and immature? People are actually being polite to Nintendo and trying to show them ways that they do care a lot about this game. System Wars never ceases to amaze me.

Just saying the developers(A Monolith Soft developer and Mistwalker) replied about the fan support and said she was happy about what's going on.

When I call Nintendo (I am thinking that I will) what exactly do I do? (I know I have to ask about the game, but what exactly do I do to let the person on the other end know that Iam wondering about Xenoblade and not some other game?) Or more specificly, how do I let them know that I am very hyped about this game and want it to be localized here in America badly?
