I'm really loving all of the effort people are putting into this. I have been desparate for a good Wii RPG and Xenoblade looks like it can fill that void. If this campagin doesn't work, Nintendo's reputation with the fans is going to be even worse than it is now, and they don't want that. If we can keep this up for another week or two, we will force their hands and they will have to at least respond to all of this. I just hope that if NOA does decide to release it that all the people supporting this campaign actually do go out and buy it, because that would ruin any future attempts like this forever.
Hello,
Thanks for contacting us. I can see why you want to see Xenoblade released here in the Americas, but at this time we have no new information to offer or announcements to make regarding this game.
I realize this is disappointing, but your comments have been documented and made available for other departments here to use as they see fit. We appreciate hearing what our consumers find important.
Sincerely,
Annie Bowman

They have your attention, mission accomplished, what more do you want?
If they ignore my protests, they send me as the consumer a clear signal that they do not care, and that they are okay with violating the implicit contract that forms between a corporation and the consumer upon the latter's purchase of the former's product(s). In such a case, it is them essentially showing me the finger, telling me that they do not care for what I want. Which will mean that I will have no reason to buy their products later on.charizard1605
Then go ahead and vote with your money if you find this to be unacceptable.

I will. I'm giving it till September for Nintendo to at least respond to this matter satisfactorily, if they don't, then... Well, the Wii U looks awesome and all, but I think I might be better served by a PS3.It's pretty hard to vote with our money when our candidate isn't running. Then go ahead and vote with your money if you find this to be unacceptable.

Obviously,we want the games.

False news. Got debunked pretty much the moment Destructoid posted that article. So keep on doing what you are doing people....http://www.zeldainformer.com/2011/06/breaking-news-xenoblade-finally-confirmed-for-a-north-american-release.html

..... Honestly Id rather hear an official statement from Nintendo themselves. Fantastic news if true.

Really? lol.
I mean I know it sucks if Wii owners don't get three games localized here - but Nintendo will probably offer you enough value to warrant a purchase of a new console - especially if you're a fan of Nintendo IPs :P.
I want Xenoblade to release in North America but I'm not going to basically boycott Nintendo if it doesn't. Though, it'd be nice to have Skyward Sword out this Holiday and Xenoblade out early next year so we have something to play until Wii U releases, probably in the Fall of 2012.

I have a 3DS, so I'll have my fix of Nintendo IPs on it. However, seeing as how Nintendo has failed me in the home console market, I see no reason to buy the Wii U unless they can assure me that they shall support it with quality content. Bringing us something more than just Zelda this year would be a great start towards that end.[QUOTE="finalstar2007"]

Failed you overall or failed you because they haven't released Xenoblade and The Last Story in North America?
Why is Pandora's Tower being hyped? I suppose when you are on a system that is starved for games, anything starts to look good...

Says the guy who gets incredibly hyped for an updated version of Ocarina of Time, and pretty much every big Nintendo release for that matter. Let's be real, all they need to do is release another Zelda, Mario, or Pokemon to win you back.

NO. I'm happy with their handhelds, and those I will support (like I have been). However, I was burnt by the Wii, it had so much potential, and it was handled like an absolute disaster. To win me over with the Wii U, they need to assure quality content, a steady stream of it. Something that hasn't been true of a Nintendo console for a good half decade now.[QUOTE="finalstar2007"][QUOTE="Shirokishi_"]

[QUOTE="charizard1605"]Failed me with the Wii, I was incredibly disappointed.Haziqonfire
Whys that?
Lack of software?
Mostly due to expectations. Personally speaking, I found the Wii to have the weakest first party lineup for any Nintendo system, and I expected it to have quality third party content. Put simply, I expected a console version of the DS. The Wii was nothing but an absolute disappointment on that front. And while there can be no doubt that Nintendo makes great games, I'll be very happy playing them on my 3DS, since their handhelds have been nothing but great. Sadly the wii is not region free, although there are... ways to go about it. Thanks for helping the cause, finalstarI'm pretty satisfied with my Wii personally just like all the other consoles. The thing with the Wii is that there are plenty of good games, but they are really lesser known in comparison to the other consoles.....I'm not willing to give up completely on other Nintendo consoles though, because of this lol.Luxen90Lol I'm not gonna give up either, but these games would make this year a lot better. The games for the Wii this year are pretty lacking.

Fair enough, though I disagree. I think this has been their strongest first party effort on a console since the SNES, while the N64 and the GC were their weakest for me.
I think while third party support was lacking on multiplatform releases, some of the exclusive titles were excellent.
Though, I can definitely agree it's nothing like the DS in terms of the sheer amount of quality titles from third parties.

Really? I believe N64 was their strongest, they werent afraid to take risks back then. However, I do include Rare games in 'first party games' too...Looks like the You Tube community is starting to notice. I guess every little bit helps

Outselling some big games, must have a lot of pre-orders from people, which is nice.So anything new happen? Good to see Xenoblade is still #1 on amazon.

Eh, while the N64 had a lot of games that started the foundation of a lot of Nintendo properties, sequels have come out that have outdone those games. In terms of risk - I think post 2004 Nintendo has been the riskiest they've ever been as a video game hardware and software company. The Wii itself is the biggest console risk the company has taken and it was extremely successful and the entire Wii __ line up was a huge risk as well.
I'll go and check their facebook again. Im very glad to see its still on top of amazon.
Ign made an artle about it today. I wish gamespot would report on it, lol.
