[QUOTE="NamelessPlayer"]I just remembered about a very obscure PC RPG called Albion, and am wondering if anyone else here has played it. Basically, it's in the future, when humanity has gained the means to venture into outer space. A planet rich in minerals has been found, and you're on a ship sent to colonize it. This planet turns out to be a typical fantasy world teeming with life, however. I haven't played it much-just dabbled in the beginning of the demo for a bit. However, those who have played it love it.FrozenLiquid
Albion? Isn't that a city in Fable?
Oh, and KotOR for me, or Final Fantasy VIII. But more KotOR. That game still amazes me for what it did.
it's actually the kingdom that the game takes place in
Nothing really beats Planescape: Torment, although Fallout 2 was close.
*Edit* I'm guessing that I'm the only one who nominated Torment because I'm the only one here who has played it, right?
Never heard of it? Check out the player reviews...

I did play it and loved it, just not enough to make it my no.1 RPG, I still like Fallout and Darklands more, but Torment sits proudly on no.3 spot :)
Here are my favorites, in as best of an order as I can from favorite to less-than-favorite-but-still-awesome:
Final Fantasy VIII
Star Control II
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete
Phantasy Star IV (Sorry Panzer, but II is just not as compelling story-wise)
Final Fantasy IV
Super Mario RPG
Final Fantasy VI
Tales of Symphonia
Shining Force II
Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door
Phantasy Star II
Could you rate my list, RPGamer, knowing that I've never played Morrowind, Oblvion, Planescape Torment, Baldour's Gate II, Fallout II or KOTOR or KOTOR II. (I don't really like WRPGS much)

Fable is in no way related to Albion other than the coincidence that both games seem to have the same name for the overworld(that mineral-enriched planet I was talking about is referred to as "Albion" by the inhabitants).Dragon Warrior (all of them) on the NES. Sorry, had to go old school on you guys, but I LOVED those games!remaGloohcSdlO
