Ferrari 458 GT5 vs Forza 3 videos *drool*

GT5 definitely has better graphics than Forza. That engine is incredible.

So sexy, but the GT5 458 looks better...

Last Gen, the GT team made due with inferior PS2 Hardware, yet still made 1080i GT4. Last Gen the Forza team had the superior Xbox Hardware and made a couple of great Forza's.

This gen, both teams have about equalish power, but the GT5 does win in this comparison.

GT looks great with its graphics but sadly no matter how good it looks I just can't feel excited for it.

GT5 looks way better than forza 3. It was really a huge difference in those two videos.

You might have to copy and paste it, before anyone says it but I can see that GT5 looks better than FM3 which is not a bad looking game its actualy a big improvement over FM2. Both games look superb and will no doubtably be superb must have games for any car fanatic that happens to play games, which will end up the better game who knows all I can say is I sure will have a fun time finding out.

Turn 10 may match or even surpass Polyphony in technical prowess, feature sets, and accessibility, but they aren't half the artists that Polyphony Digital are. The GT5 video blew me away. The lighting and camerca angles were awesome and seemlessly executed. The music was fitting and complemented the spectacular scenes. Last but not least, the Italia is the best looking Ferrari ever.

Great videos, but too much replay mode chicanery to compare the actual games.

GT5 = better car models

Forza3 = better environment (i think)

I am not a fanboy, I have both systems and are getting both games, I really love sims and driving performance cars irl, just wanted people to see the great videos

GT5 was head and shoulders better. I mean I thought it'd be closer than that but wow that GT5 one as soon as it showed the light reflecting off the symbol I could tell how amazing it looked. Forza lacked the detail GT has. I mean the head and tail lights looked amazing in GT.

I kinda feel the same way but we are only a few days away from finding out first hand just how exadurated "forza 3 is the best looking racing sim on the 360" as said by Turn 10's Dan Greenawalt.

Anyways a few days back people were in a uproar that Ferrari was going to be exclusive to Forza 3? Doesnt seem to be the case.

Kinda sad how we are comparing edited footage of racing sims, to determine which is better. People need to actually try the games to compare them.

gran turismo is amazing !

Based off of those two videos GT5 is a notche above FM3 when it comes to graphicals. Still have a feeling FM3 will be the better playing game in the end.

Yeah PD definitely made the better looking tribute video. That doesn't mean they've made the better looking game, but the difference in these videos was bigger than I would have assumed.

When you mentioned the difference in headlights it reminded me of these pics I saw beneath the videos in the comments section:

And finally... this is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. Can't wait to play with one in game!

GT5 has an insane lightning, it makes the game so realistic but the environments still look the same as in GT5P, imo crap :(

I wish we could get a combination of GT5 and FM3, car models from GT5 with FM3 environments and with GT5 lightning on them, that would be total out of this world :o

That is the detail I'm talking about, I don't know which one will be the better game but yes clearly the GT one is just so damn good, I mean its almost breath taking. Regardless of which system you own if your a fan of sim racing your in for a treat.

this is not surprising in the least. FM3 can't even touch GT5 Prologue let alone GT5 itself.
