FF Versus XIII Renamed Final Fantasy XV? AVAILABLE ON PS3 & WIIU!?! (LEGIT?)

Nope, 100% platted the game already. Majority of normal enemies in the game can be dispatched easily by mashing X with the RAV/RAV/COM paradigm until maybe gran pulse (30 hours in) when the difficulty goes up a notch. Bosses are essentially the same exact strategy every time. Stagger with Rav/rav/com or Rav/rav/rav, get up that chain gauge, switch to com/com/com. Perhaps a few debuffs/buffs here and there. People make this combat system out to be the most complex system ever yet it's the same repetitive pattern almost every time. Summons are majorly useless. Treasures tend to give you materials which are used to upgrade equipment, the upgrade system is majorly useless until post game and it's best not to waste materials until you get the good equipment, which is all the way at the end. Gil is scarce for a good majority of the game making shops completely and utterly worthless until post game. There's nothing else to say about this game. It's just run, fight, cutscene, rinse repeat. No interesting story either, cringe worthy characters, stupid looking villain with stupid motive, cheesy jpop music. FFXIII-2 tries to improve upon it but ultimately fails.

Uhhh... a projector screen pulled down in front of a white board. Does that look like a pre-E3 event to you? I think square would have at least maybe used a screen and not a projector in a classroom.

LOL? this is so easy to do. photoshop + splicing footages + pasting logos + friends + college classroom. it's not that hard.

Yeah when you watch it a few times you really think it's fake then. I thought it was new footage but I had just forgotten what the old footage was. The subtitles are a give away too because they are just stock white subtitles that are way too big and alwmost mid way in the screen

what about the subtitles during the video? those aren't in any of the previously relesed videos and the diolge seems pretty legit for a FF game.

oh, look subs also aren't in animes when they release it in Japan but somehow dozens of fansubbers can put subs in the next day. the dialogue is from over a year ago. seriously. it's legit because those CGIs are from a video that Square Enix released in early 2011.

there, from the official Square Enix youtube page. uploaded Jan 26, 2011. the part after the 6:00 mark is the one that you're looking for. these punks basically spliced the old footage and changed the FFVsXIII logo. that's about it. the 25th Anniversary logo can also be taken off of SE's public website.

The subs in this video are similar but still different. And the end of the video, the way the logo comes and goes. If you look at the vid in this thread the "Final Fantasy XV" just dissapears abruptly instead of everything fading out at once.

Any particular reason why not for the Xbox 360?

It's probably real. How else to you explain the ridiculously long dev cycle and the fact theat they've been silent on it for so long.If it turns out to be a Wii-u launch title, it could turn out to be something. The return of a main FF title on a Nintendo console is pretty big news.

Final Fantasy XV? Why don't they just start calling them Final Sci-Fi 1+? I finally saw trailers/footage of this game today and I realised two things, Final Fantasy fans kind of annoy me and this is fake. In my own search for previous footage I found one, which a fan blasted some sappy song over, even action scenes, and called their own. It was praised, no credit to the song either. The video that someone here posted of the actually footage I was looking for opened my eyes to the incredibly high chance that this is fake.

As for what I've learned of the game today, I have to say that, as a Nintendo fan, I don't care it looks like everything I hate about the Final Fantasy series. That would be overproduced BS, funny because I'm waiting for Nintendo to release BS Zelda (Broadcast Satellite).

Final Fantasy III is in my opinion the best Final Fantasy game. It is also the first one I played, no it isn't nostalgia, I started Final Fantasy about 3 years ago (FF3-DS). I have Final Fantasy 4 DS also, and it is good, but it starts to overwhelm you with story when you just want to play. It seems like it got worse as steam-punk was added, which was either 6 or 7, I think, progressing into modernism, etc. I started playing 10 also which I liked at first, then the game drags on and gets boring.

Nothing Square has done, that I'm aware of, hold a spark to Chrono Trigger, so I hope they don't try to continue that again, Chrono Cross seems to have dropped the best part, the battle system. Final Fantasy needs to get back to its roots. I should look into 9 it seems pretty close to what I'm looking for in the series.
