PC dominated PS3 this gen very very hard. Better gfx, better performance, way more games, way way more exclusives, more features, more gamers, more genres.

I expect the same with PS4.

Division I could see coming regardless but this is actually something that actually matters alot of japanese developers and publishers are averse to PC ports of games since using it for gaming is far more popular outside of japan where its super niche so they don't understand it. But I think the PC market has grown enough and Japanese developers and publishers are beginning to notice there's a large untapped market but begin as risk averse and resistant to change as the are they need some more reassurance to push them to go through with it. A petition gaining alot of support is capable of doing just case in point we actually got Dark Souls published by namco one of the largest and most console focused Japanese companies to port it to pc because of a petition so they do work.

The thoroughly well developed and accepted digital distribution we have on pc makes it easy to sell a game to millions of consumers around the world and with PS4 and XBOX 1 both using x86 hardware it will only make porting to PC even cheaper and easier. especially to Japanese developers who where used to developing for only consoles won't find doing it for pc so foreign anymore as they there all running similair hardware now no more Power PC.

I personally believe this gen we finally get more Japanese developers and publishers supporting the pc with there games then just capcom. Just need to be swayed to port over there large appeal games through a successful petition(kingdom hearts 3,FFXV, and MGS5) and the sales will hopefully speak for themselves after that. If you port over agame with limited appeal(like the crap clan of champions for NIS)you can't complain about poor sales I really hope konami isn't planning to base porting Metal Gear Solid 5 to pc based on Metal Gear Solid Revengence sales a spinoff with totally different game play and only 6 hours of game play.  It would  make far more sense to port over the HD collection to PC if they wanted to base wheather to port off that.
