Final Fantasy 13 360 vs PS3 *Now with moar pics!* 56k, do I even need to say it?

So which version will you get? I'm thinking 360. I wasn't even thinking about getting it before I heard about it's multiplat-ness, even though I have a PS3 :/ Is that weird?

LOL, those things still around? I check my friends list for trophies all the time. All I see is "there are no trophies".

Do you think those screenshots are for the xbox360 version, they haven't even started on that plataform yet, thats screenshots are from the ps3, or maybe PC.fjburgos

I don't think their will be trophies or achievemnets since SE said they are not adding anything to the 360 verison or the PS3 version because they want the game to be equal.

True, but most people who don't care to break 1000 gamerscore only play one or maybe two multiplayer games constantly. I know this type. They don't play RPGs.

I didn't but it sounds pretty obvious. SE has a year to build the game for the 360, while they've already mastered the white engine for the PS3. They said it might not be the same quality as the PS3.

White engine currently uses 4/6 cores on the PS3. In comparison, Killzone 2 uses 4 and a half.

The two best FFs (US2 and US3) were on SNES. It went down hill like a giant avalanche after that. The only ff that was good with Sony was IX. The rest were ok to bad. FF7 was the absolute worst ever.

Wouldn't surprise me at all when about 6 - 8 months from now we start seeing threads posting dev diaries saying the delays are coming from the problems they are having getting the game to run as nice on PS3 as it does on 360. ;)

PS3 because it will have one disc. With multiple disc you run the chance of just one disc getting scratch and ruining your game.

I never said swap a disc is a big deal, but It hink saying 6 dvds is not unreasonable.....if FF13 brings as much gameplay/video as they normally do.

Also to those who say you can just download it all to your HDD......come on, are you kidding me? who is going to use most of their space for one game? As easy as it is to do, most people are not going to have 100 gig drive on their X360. I suspect most are going to have a 20 gig or better yet none at all.

either way I think the game will be exactly the same if not better on the X360 just because the code is PC based....we all know X360 was designed with the PC in mind.

it is coded on a pc (like all games), but the engine was specificly designed for the PS3 and they are designing the PS3 version first and then starting with the 360 one.

I own a PS3. Therefore I will get FF13 for the PS3. I got my PS3 partly for playing FF13.

If I had an XBOX 360 I would buy it for that console. Whatever it takes, it doesn't matter, as long as I can play this game.

Although FF13 was a reason I picked up a PS3, I'm getting it on the 360, mainly becasue I kinda made a little bet saying that I would get it on the 360 if it does come to the 360. They are going to be the same game, The 360 is going to need more than one DVD, and the PS3 may need more than one install (like MGS 4),

Final Fantasy XIII will be a 360 game so will have achievments. MS made it so you have to have them.

I have 92gb free on my HDD, once i'm done, delete the game off the HDD and keep the option and save files.

can't scratch any disks, save wear and tear on my system, runs better!

I don't see one negative thing in that.

tbh, i've never really got into the franchise

i even played through more than half of FFX, enduring the horrible (IMO) combat (random battles, turn based) just so that i could watch the story unfold in gorgeous fmv sequences

but eventually my patience ran out and i never finished it

but i know how the series has evolved over the years

i'm hoping this one is a lot more accessible .. i'll definately check it out, either through a demo if we get one, or by renting it

i own both a 360 and PS3, but if i'm to get this, it'll be for the 360 (i get all my multiplats for this, generally)

This is my #1 game this gen and i knew i would have to buy a PS3 after 3/4 good years with a 360, just to play this game. Thankfully now i won't have to do that, assuming both games are equal that is.
