FFXIII was the reason i got the PS3...well that and MGS4. MGS has justifyed my purchase, but i think ill go with the 360 version of FFXIII because of achievements i guess.-DrRobotnik-

The graphics are slightly better, the load times are shorter, and there is a bit of new content in the form of the Knights of the Nine add-on, which is available as a separate purchase on other platforms.

I'm sorry, but I think this looks like the lamest FF to date, and I loved almost every FF up to 12. (Haven't played 1, 4 or 5)

I'm sure it will redeem itself in my eyes when we see more of it. All I've really seen is this crazy gal owning up a bunch of peeps in typical FF fanboy-hyping trailer fashion.

Since I don't own a PS3 but do own a 360, its pretty obvious what I will be getting it on.

I buy all my multiplats for the 360. I chat with my friends while I play and I want the Achievements.

What's going to be funny is how FF13 will be on 2 or 3 DVD's at most. I wouldn't even be surprised if it's on one seeing how the 360 can actually decompress compressed data FAR better then the PS3. The 360 version also won't need to have multiple copies of general game data as will the PS3 version. BR is hardly an advantage. Get over it.

Laugh. You wouldn't need 30 cartridges. Even if you took the stock memory from a N64 cartridge you wouldn't need that many. What you would need is more capacity. Which could easily fit inside one cartridge. The problem would be that you would run up the already bloated cost. It was rumored that it would of cost $150 to release FF7 on the N64 cartridges.

Hell, we have SD cards that can store 32GBs nowadays.

Sarcasm? As if square is honor bound to Sony, because THEY made successful games on their platform. Pretty sure it's that attitude that got Sony in this PS3 mess to begin with.

360 for two reasons,

1. Achievements. Yea, I'm excited about trophies, but we're a month in now and we have one game that supports them. At this rate we'll have about two dozen by the time FFXIII ships in 2010.

2. Sony's cocky nature in reguards to exclusives. The company gobbled up developers left and right with the advent of CDs for the PS brand, stealing them from Nintendo's more expensive cartridge system.

This round they expected devs to stay loyal and flock to the more versatile Blu-ray format, yet when it comes to encouraging them to utilize the features available, they don't. Instead, we get DVD quality title after title, and outside of Multi-Ch PCM, almost nothing is forwarding the advantage that the higher capacity discs should make.
