@kvallyx: I love all the mini games myself. An absolute ton of variety of things to do in this game. Find the Yuffie character to be quite funny and entertaining. Really enjoy all the side quests and just general exploring in the game. Always feel properly rewarded for doing it.
Just made it to the Coral Mako Reactor. That's a wrap for this weekend. 38 hours in! Amazing game. Having fun switching the party up and playing as different characters. All of them are fun in their own way.
I am in chapter 9... OK this is bit absurd but I think the world is just too big.
The traversal areas were big, but plagued with monotony. I could appreciate the scope more if it were filled with more meaningful content. They certainly could have shrunk the areas and had more meaningful sidequests/content.

Yes I agree I also think square is being conservative with the open world but its still a missed opportunity. Could have littered the world with hidden QB or Fort Condor players for us to find. I love QB its such a great game.
Currently playing through Chapter 12 and I’m blown away with the effort and amount of content and variety that SquareEnix has put into this game. It’s absolutely incredible.
Just finished the game and wow, incredible. Great looking, amazing gameplay, fantastic music, well written, and well voice acted. Such a crazy amount of variety and a ton of content. You can tell that SquareEnix really put their all into this. I put over 120 hours into this initial play through and still have some stuff left to do. Loved all the mini games in this, and there’s a hell of a lot of them. Sadly a couple of them seem way too difficult for me to get everything that they unlock. Mainly the piano one. Such an amazing amount of charm and personality in the characters.
An easy 10/10 and far and away my GotY so far. Kind of hard to see something topping it right now.

At the base of the Golden Saucer but I am too busy enjoying the side stuff. I initially was very sceptical with it but I like most of it. Some of side quests are funny in a Yukuza way - the Johnny one springs to mind.

Agreed, I’m amazed by the amount of content in this game. Just did the g bike game!

Just completed all of the Gongaga region! Just trying to wrap up some side stuff at the Saucer. 65 hours in. Can't wait to start the next chapter with Cid!

You're really giving it your all lol. I finished at something like 56hrs, but didn't do a lot of sidequests. Thankfully NG+ (chapter select) allows you to carry over the completed content. I've started again on Hard.
