Final Fantasy VII downloaded over 100,000 times!!

The PSN re-release of Final Fantasy VII has been downloaded over 100,000 times in two weeks to make it the fastest ps1 downlaod so far, even the most highest download of any digital game :shock: .. i mean woow ..imagine what will happen if a real re-make came for the game it will sell like crazy, i hope Square will now start releaseing more ps1 gameson PSN :)

I expect both Sony and SE to be pleased.

Anyway, it's nice to see a classic being brought to the younger generations. This one can suck you in despite it's age.

Well, its false that this is the highest selling digital download game, I'm pretty super SF2HD has over 250,000 downloads. Anyway, I really am against all the SE porting of FF andDQ but atleast it isn't a remake.

As for more PS3 and PSP games from SE, PSP gets a hell of a lot of them and 2 of SE's biggest games are on the PS3 so I'm not sure what you are talking about.

im not an RPG fan and have crisis core on psp....do you think its worth getting FF VII?

I expect both Sony and SE to be pleased.

I bought it. I couldn't find it in stores and my third disc was messed up. For $10 it was probably a bit overpriced, well worth it though for me.

Dissidia is great fun. You'll enjoy it. I really liked what I played of it, the combat is very satifying, in an intense battle it plays out how you would expect an over the top final fantsy battleto.

Im not seeing any thing telling about its sales numbers what im seeing is simply confirmed that the final fantasy 7 fanboys still believe falsely that the game is the best rpg ever made, and that alot of people are buying into that false belief or wondeirng what exactly those fanboys were talking about for all those years.

Im personally waiting for Prime Triloy to be released before playing Prime 3 (and 1 and 2 which I never played through totally) but you will have tons of fun with Tactics and Mana. Ver, very, VERY good games. The story in Tactics is phenomenal.

Yeah, I might buy the trilogy and sell Prime 3 but we'll see what happens. My friends are telling me Tactics is amazing so I'm looking forward to playing it. I actually am at the Mana Fortress in Secret though. I bought that one at Christmas, tons of fun especially with friends. Sucks that we didn't get 3 :(

FF8 was my first FF not to mention the first game with a very well developed story in it (I was pretty yound at the time :))

So yeah, FF8 is special to me as well :)

I'm actually fortunate enough to own a retail copy. I've been intending to play it again with a perfect run through. I missed a few things in my good file even though I got almost everything.

Im the same way but with FF7. It was my very first RPG. Hell when I was playing FF7 I was like wtf is this crap I gatta wait. Then I grew a bit older and went back in it cause the first time i played I didint know what was going on. After I beat it I was never the same again and its still till thnis day my favorite jrpg.
