Now this is next gen. Also have to say the gameplay looks fvcking cool

I remember how herms and WRPG fanboys were fapping over The Wither 3 graphics, well I think it's safe to say that FFXV takes a wet dump on it graphically (also open world)

It almost looks completely CG and this is from a PS4 dev kit. Sad that TW3 PC devs talking bout making cut backs on consoles and you can't even get 60fps at 1080 with a 780ti and their game still looks like a game.

THIS is why we need Japanese developers around for the people who are always asking why they are important. They are always delivering the best gameplay, most realistic looking and performing games without relying on the most powerful tech (MGS5, Bloodborne ect).

The main character in TW3 still looks like he has a string mop texture for hair smh.

Also TW3 packs a shit ton more detail into its character models and world than I've seen in FFXV which seems to be focusing more on using nice DOF and shiny shiny stuff to excite people like you that think flashy particle effects make a game look cool.

Game looks extremely boring, i fell alseep watching that. Too much focus on presentation, not enough care taken on improving gameplay systems.

TW3 looks better, but not by much.

Getting both but i am more excited for FF15.

You should give TW2 a try if your PC is capable. It's a great game and frequently goes on sale on Steam.

When the games get to this level you're pretty much splitting hairs. Even stylistically TW3 is pretty hot stuff. They both look great though I'd give the edge to FFXV at this point. But either way, it's hard to complain with either of them. Diminishing returns and generally high production values all around have made a lot of these graphics threads pretty much pointless, especially when comparing two multi-plat games.

TW3 does look great, I simply am saying it was overblown and the devs were givin too much credit because it's a good looking open world game. With all the console cut-backs and suped up PC reqirements CD Project Red needed to get the game to be what it is, that is why I say the FFXV devs shamed them. Let's not forget here...

Both games are open world so you can't really used the detail excuse because the vistas in FFXV are just as huge and as for the suck on it suggestion...

BTW: that dog animation looked horrible lol. Animation is not and has never been WRPG devs strong point, I wouldn't try to hype it.

The dog is from a Nvidia tech video to show off Nvidia Hairworks technology that will be available in Witcher 3, it's not to show off the dogs running animation

At this point the witcher 3 doesn't look like anything special graphical wise, so its an easy win for FFXV and I agree with you. (At least the tech demo)

Too bad that the wannabe masterrace cant acknowledge that and still clings to old oversharpened gifs before gameplay showed much worse graphics.

Dont expect many real conversations in this thread when a PC game, that was hyped to hell and back for years, underwhelms in the graphical department.

That screenshot is not ingame and it's easy to notice this by the clarity.

It's either CG or the PC version but it's most likely CG.

Who? sources please? Also, this is a multiplat so I don't know why you're singling out PC gamers for any form of hype, I'm sure there are console gamers that are excited for it on X1/PS4

I'm not sure if you realize that the "good" graphics in the FFXV trailer are the CGI cutscenes, and the gameplay graphics are surprisingly poor by comparison to other PS4/Xbone games, let alone a graphical powerhouse such as TW3.

FF looks great but i still think witcher 3 looks better, FF games always have that "shine" to everything
