Fami had this listed at late 2008/early 2009 for here.

Dunno, Square has to many projects going on and they need to make them as fast as possible. There is Crisis Core english version for psp (Already done i thinkO DQ 9, then FF13, then Vs. 13 THEN they need to work on the two kingdom hearts games, THEN maybe if the rumors are true after all that is finished the FF7 remake.

Not to metnion the fact that there are all others games being made like the crystal chronicle, tactic advance. Wait and see, although I doubt it will come in North America before spring 2009

I have GoW III, Twisted Metal, L.A. Noire and more to look forward to though, I'm still happy to be a PS3 owner. :D

Me either, because this means we are gonna have to wait until after FF13 is out until Kingdom Hearts 3 is confirmed, so we won't see H3 for a loooooong time if this is true.catlin_czirr

Sucks big time for FF fans. Ever since the merger, Square hasn't been the same. Anyways, Sony fans should be happy with Resistance 2, MGS 4, and GoW 3 until this comes out.dkhw

I know. The quality of the games has slipped and not only that they can't even release titles on time. It's been delays and delays ever since the merger. It's pretty sad. Squaresoft was amazing.

Ouch....that would definetly not help PS3 sales dropping down Sony's big exclusive titiles for the year down to like 2?

Funny, just yesterday there as a interview with SE President stating that it could be theoretically released 08, but probably 09 because DQIX is out 08.

FFXII- 2006

FFXIII- 2010 , sounds about right on schedule. 2011 in the U.S.

FFXI and FFX-2 weren't worthy of the FF brand name.

Either way this is horrible news. I'm hoping by 2010 we are concentrating on the next batch of consoles.

I seriously hope this isn't true. I miss the days of PS1 when we would get 3 FF games in 5 years. Instead, it seems like the games are taking longer and longer to make and yet they are becoming less and less interesting and enjoyable.

At this rate, I would rather they just quit making new FF games and remake older titles with new graphics. Hell, make FF tactics for PS3 with awesome graphics and I will buy it. Just stop wasting my time developing a game that I'm not going to enjoy as much as the older titles.

No, this isn't on schedule. If we had Squaresoft this **** wouldn't be going on and you know it. Squaresoft was known for working on future FF games while the current one just came out. When FFVIII was out, the screenshots of IX and X were shown and both the logo for XI and XII were shown. This is all fault of that crappy company that makes those crappy DQ games.
