There is no PC version. The 360 controller is actually a Logitech controller made for computers. Seeing as how games are made on PC first the controller would make it fairly easy to develop to game.

do you have ANY idea what you're talking about? :|

must not seeing how you obviously don't know that MS released the 360 wired controller BEFORE the 360 launched and it came with PC drivers so you could use it on your PC.

Logitech Chillstream Controller, one the many 3rd party controllers. I know MadCatz has a few and Gamestop has one as well. I'm not saying they aren't using the Microsoft controller, they most likely are. Point is its being used for pc because its most likely helping development go along smoother. I think I just typed out my past comments in a wrong way.

all games are developed for consoles on PC, and guys that is clearly a standard xbox 360 controller, windows xp and vista are completely compatible with the 360 controller and you don't need to download seperate drivers, i use mine all the time on my pc hell even the british army use them to control predator inmanned drones, and i doubt any third party makes a 360 controller IDENTICAL to the standard 360 controller (lawsuit anyone) oh and it's a wired one otherwise there would be a red or green light at the top

Games are made on PC, but this is more. SE is doing what Capcom started recently, they actualy develop the whole game on PC instead of dev-kits and then bring it to consoles. Makes much more sense when you're making a multiplat game

Sigh. PS3 is the lead platform. Btw those pics have been posted before (Final Fantasy Downgrade confirmed thread) and have proven to be mere development shots. Not even in game. Hopefully we see some nice ps3 screens at the TGS

gah it doesnt matter

all that matters is the 360 is easier to work with, so the 360 version will have less bugs and such, compared to the PS3 version

GAH I DONT CARE I WONT EVEN PLAY THE DAMN GAME

No I think you will find that the years of development and the fact that SE said themselves that the 360 port hasnt even begun yet proves my statement to be correct.

Wow you have i crysis pic :P haven't noticed.

Anyways on topic.Yes they make the game on PC and then port it to the consoles but they may port it first to the ps3 and have better time to optimize it, just like Capcom did with DMC4 :P Also they will probably look the same cuz the 360 is easier to port for but who know what they will do... anyway the ps3 version is ported first...who knows. Anyways we don't know what he is making there, he could just be making a GCi trailer from the looks of it, ff games are full of them :P

Well this is good news for both the 360 and PS3, nobody is getting shafted, and TBH, i think that SE are downright lying they havent started on the 360, its simply to calm fears, they must have a small team dedicated to bringing up a 360 build

Great,

must mean the PS3 version is close to "almost complete" or closed to it. Can't wait, too bad too. I thought they were gonna do a worldwide release like they did with Versus XIII. Sucks we have to wait.

Devkits:|

Either way, they themselves said that they are building the game on PC, its standard for any game to have assetts made there but not the whole game, the difference is that once the game is complete theyll optimise for consoles and leave the PC at that point
