They did the same thing when Eurogamer gave Gears an 8/10 (and they were reviewing a build without multiplayer).

*Edit: I actually find it funny, when 1 source gives Ratchet and Clank a lower score than the rest it's "Teh Biased!" but when 1 source gives Halo or Gears a lower score it's "Teh honesty!" Gotta love system wars.

Very old. But yes, I agree. Halo 3 is an avarage game. Nothing special. It's good stuff for casuals I guess, but experienced gamers probably want more depth from their games. -Aus-

Halo 3 is a AAA GOTY contender. Deal with it.

I'm not a big fan of Halo 3's SP, personally. It is very average. Then again, I've hardly played co-op, and I haven't tried campaign scoring.

The multiplayer, however, is absolutely sublime.

It doesn't really bother me that they are biased - because I'd say not even 1% of the majority of the 125 Million PS2 owners just waiting to upgrade to PS3 (Just like they did from the PS1) don't even know what Gamespot is.

If GS is biased, why does the PS3 have 3 AAAs here and only 2 on Gamerankings? Why do I see adds for PS3 games on here all the time? Why are they hosting a Resistance Fall of Man tournament?

i love his reviews. they are insanely funny, they digress greatly from the topic at hand, and the pick on only the few downpoints of a game by blowing out of proportion for the sake of satire, i love it.

My problem with people trashing the GS review (not necessarily you) was that the review was out the night before the game was to hit shelves. Now I'm sure some people out there managed to get ahold of it early and already made their minds up, but I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of posters whining about the review hadn't even bought it yet.
