It's hilarious how anyone can say any other game out there comes close to Crysis 2 in graphics. Fanboys at their finest..... so sad.

TBH even as a KZ2 fanboy, I must say that Crysis 2 is in the driver's seat in terms of FPS graphics. Though I would not dismiss GG latest work just yet, they still have a good 6+ months to really polish KZ3 up, not to mention there's only one mission showcased so far and let's not forget that GG are really pressing for variety in KZ3, not only in gameplay, but also in the environments ;)

They can't do much more with their game engine. Fancy gun models and effects is what you'll get, just like K2. No chance to come close to Crysis.
Crysis is on all consoles though, so I don't understand why people can't accept that it's the graphics king and just leave the entire idea of graphics king behind.

From that footage, its definately not the best looking console game...KZ3 pre-alpha looks much better graphically than that
PAL360
I wonder what would you say if this vids had the X, circle, square and triagle buttons on screen insteed of A, B, X and Y ones!!
Would it really matter? K3 looks better than this as of right now. Besides, didn't crytek state PS3 version to be better? :P
Or proof that Crytek are just better developers than anyone else working on the 360? It looks great, but .. and there is a but. I still am unsure if it's the best looking title on consoles. I mean, the PS3 has some really amazing looking games as well. This game looks simply amazing! Another prove that 360 is far more powerfull than hater have been claiming ;)

Killzone 3 is looking fantastic, but I have to tip my hat to Crysis 2. It simply looks pristine. Beyond the graphics, it simply looks like a fantastic shooter in every regard. It looks far better than any other shooter releasing this year to me. Don't get where the hate is coming from. Day 1 fo sho.
Because it blows the Sony Fan's misbelief that the PS3 is more powerful than the 360. Sony Fan seems to think since U2 is a great looking game it could never be done on the Three SixO. Crysis 2 is the best looking game on consoles at the moment so they must discredit the game. It is all very sad and truly shows how man's thirst to be right trumps truth.[QUOTE="AktionJakson"]

You two are... "funny" hmmm... so let's see.. ps3 people / sony fanboy / cows can't think/hope or claim that kz3 is in pre-alpha and it has plenty of time to be polished up and look even better than what was shown... but Crysis 2 has plenty of time to "tighten" everything up.
Double standards eh?

I am not saying I can't accept that possibility, rather I have faith that GG can pull something truly special graphically in KZ3. They did it with KZ2, so I can't see why they can't go even furthur and go nuts with the game engine. Look at what ND did with Uncharted 1 and 2, never say never I tell ya :)

true, both consoles has. My point is that at this point its impossible to tell which game looks better out of KZ2, Reach, Gears3, Crysis2 and others.
Someone who says X game looks better than Y is being biased. All look amazing and im sure the only variable is the art style

Crytek already said it was the 360 version being shown in a later interview. Plus why would a PC developer use a 360 controller for testing when the mouse is what will be used for controlling the final game? It could be the PC but based off logic highly unlikely.
Because it has happend before... Remember BRINK that got a lot of hype because it's awesome graphics... Well it turned out that it all was on PC with a 360 controller. http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showpost.php?p=202837&postcount=468No. Such. Thing. As. A. Console. Graphics. King. Now that that's out of the way, it surely looks fantastic. Looks better than any console game I've seen, that's for sure.Stevo_the_gamerhmmm dontcha find it odd with the windows 7 thing and 2 shortcuts on the desktop with crysis icons...?

he was not playing it live that was a video of a previous playthru which was done on 360.
Its not a video since you can see the Crysis icon in the taskbar.Maybe I am just being paranoid, but I am hesitant to believe that is console footage. Then again, it is Crytek so I guess if anyone can do it they can. Maybe Koei....not

Actually i need. Until that, the buttons on screen are the closest think to a proof ;)
Actually one icon says terminal and other street something, above says xbox 360 neighborhood. They probably recorded it and now they are just replying it :)
Anyway,in this footage AF is not what would look like on PC and there is alot of self shadows missing.Still pre alpha, but not perfect.
Still hard to say what version we're dealing with. Some of the textures and the aliasing look very console-ish. Here's the screen it exits out to after the video is done playing. It's interesting there's a 360 icon on the desktop. Can't make out what the prog is at the very bottom.

hmmm dontcha find it odd with the windows 7 thing and 2 shortcuts on the desktop with crysis icons...?SolletLooks like a pre-recorded demo to me, could have been done on a dev console. Reminds me of their demonstration back at GDC when the Crysis 2 developer went back and forth between PS3 and X360 using his PC.

Also what is Brink?
That forum poster is a dev of the game called BRINK. http://www.brinkthegame.com/gate/?request=%2F[QUOTE="1stPlaceWinner"][QUOTE="Medic_B"]Its not a video since you can see the Crysis icon in the taskbar. yes, because the logical thing to do in this situation is play the conspiracy card.
a. It crashes, and you can see the crysis icon.
b. What is the chance of a video crashing?
c. Several developers have been caught in the past trying to pass off PC footage as 360 footage.

The icon would always be there though, it's a quick launch icon, they guy even re-clicks it in the youtube vid. I agree though, the lack of error report really leads me to believe it was being played on pc.
