i'm still a firm believer that the Wii is a solid console with tonnes of options... but this is pretty incredible and hard to ignore.

maybe I will get a PlayStation next year... but then i need an HD TV to see it like that... Final Fantasy has always been a deciding game for me. ugh, tough one. maybe i'll pick up some extra shifts and just pool the money into a FF Fund.

This and LBP may be worth the price of admission.

Theres also been a hint at Versus XIII gameplay also which is surprisely said to look better then this (although I don't see how). Good to see they found a stable battle system to work with atleast, just in time for the demo. Looks like 2009 for Japan is looking likely and I have a feeling localization won't be far off either, not as fast as SO: The Last Hope, but faster then what it has been.hayato_

the 2nd group of pics looks nice but i dunno how ppl can refuse to accept these for ingame, are they really that good? a couple of those look like cgi but you can tell them apart easily

as far as the last few ffs.. i kind of enjoyed ffx-2 though i never finished it, got too easy once i mastered alchemist

but 11 and 12 i passed on, 9 i really don't like but at the time of playing it i was pretty hooked and considered it "fun".. worst chars/story though

started with 8 so i'm biased though i understand watching gfs and crappy micromanaged magic system sucks but 6 is also pretty good if i ever finish it.. i could see liking 7 if you liked 10 but its still way better.. 10 sucked, took me years to dredge through

i connected with 8's story the most but if i go back and play 7 i'll probably appreciate more.. i just hate that i beat it on accident and the ending was weak compared to 8

looks awesome, im a big FF fan (obviously) and i can't wait for the demo (jan '09 bundled w/ blu ray advent children iirc) unfortunately i'm sure localization will take forever unless they're script translating as the game is written (ie writing the scripts in japanese and as soon as a part is nailed down, translating it to send overseas) but i doubt it, wishful thinking eh? so it looks like 2010 is the year i will be spending far too much time playing ff. z4twenny

Thats just what other people who saw the TGS Trailer said, (which contained ingame footage) Since there time is going in FF XIII, Nomura has given the directions to other members who are working on Versus XIII to work on the artistic side of Versus XIII which has lead to more detail and design overall. Its already been mentioned that Versus XIII has a slight graphical upgrade then FF XIII, but both look stunning to mehayato_

I'm not a JRPG lover (even though i played, owned, or seen played all of the FF after 7), my good friend is a JRPG lover and a FF fanatic (he actually prefers FFXl over WoW) who basically keeps up with most of the FF news and community and he even stated that most of the FF lovers in his community though that FF9 was a disappointment to the mainstream of the FF. FF7, 8, 10, 11 (even though WoW owns this game royally) and 12 was all great titles and loved through most of the FF community. FF9 WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, ESPECIALLY AFTER COMING OFF OF 2 MEGA HIT PREQUELS BEFORE FF7 AND FF8ermacness
