Yeah I played Okami last gen for the PS2, one of the best games for the console. Its 10x the game this crap FF game is or will be. On-Topic: Fantastic!! I love it.

It has a fantastic "feel good" atmosphere and thank god the protagonist isnt another emo/androginous drama queen. The setting and designs are really top notch. But that is something i would expect by the team that made Final Fantasy IX, they rock. One of my most antecipated S-E projects already

This actually looks really good. Maybe its just me but I thought it looked pretty good and the gameplay looks different and fun. To tell yea the truth I am sick of FF but maybe this one well be good.

the ignorant part is, they just saw it in real life, in game footage, in 480p and evidentally they're satisfied with it, so you have no point.

if they're satisified by the graphics in that trailer, which looked awesome they won't have a problem with the real life thing,looks like a solid action-RPG, if its anything like the other CC games (rings of fates, GCN CC) It will have loads of sidquests, a decent story, and fun battles.

so that makes this square enix's Wii only support

Dragon Quest Swords, Dragon Quest 10 (RPG of 2010 candidate, face it DQ RPGs are always candidates), Final Fantasy Fables (7-8 scores good dungeon crawler), Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders (tower defense games, Wii version is different from 360/ps3 versions), Final Fantasy My Life as a King (well rated everywhere but here), Crystal Bearers, Final Fantasy Echoes of Time (well reviewed in japan so far)

i expect enix to add maybe kingdom hears 3, maybe front mission or the mana series to the Wii this gen too, i mean why not? their biggest hardcore series is on the Wii already

Are people honestly **** about the graphics? The wii is not a PS3 or 360. Its never going to look better than them, atleast the game has nice art. If this is not enough to please them then they should just throw their wiis away since it not going to get much better.

The FF 13 trailer was really good but are you honestly trying to say that you thought the wii would match those graphics. Come on, thats borderline stupid. Also the FF 13 trailer was exciting but damn if it didn't look like 12 with start wars mixed in, and I hate 12 so that doesn't bode to well.

Meh, I'll take a ban if what I'm arguing is reasonable, its not worth being scared of. Had a feeling you were suspended, hadn't seen you around for a while. But damn, I am impressed with the trailer is only because SE is doing something different. No weapons, open world, Cocky badass hero from the start, dudes a ladies man. How can I not be impressed when I always tell SE to do something different.

No there isn't. It seems like it would be 2009 for Japan, we'll probably get it late 2009 at the earliest, mid 2010 at the latest.

They've never been my favourite but I enjoyed there titles at one time. Now I don't konow what the hell they are doing any more. They make really stupid moves and take forever to relaease games. Remakes, ports spinoffs. Well atleast they still have some level of quality left. Anyway, enough of my ranting, this thread is a bout one of the few actually different and ambitious wii projects so I'll stay on that topic.
