Hype for The Corridor: 24 FPS has really died down over the last month or two. I think even the Sony faboys are starting to see the writing on the wall on that one. Major flop incoming.

The Order will flop. Kirby's never been a series that ever gets much hype, it'll score decently, 7 or 8 I'd guess. The Order will be overhyped like every Sony exclusive and score a 6 at best.

Seriously, at the hate The Order is getting how exactly can it be a "flop" in the sense of the word? Everyone and their mothers expect it to fail.

@pikachudude860: Both of these games need proper HYPE threads to see how they flop. They are good contenders for sure, then again, everything is suspect for a flop at GS.

HYPE threads have users of all factions voting in the thread, that's how it always is. The blame on how HYPE votes go with any HYPE thread doesn't rest with one faction.

One could easily spin your unoriginal generalization and say that users opposed to an opposite faction (Nintendo, Sony, Xbox, PC) want to flop every game that is not on their platform and troll users? Sweeping generalizations are just poor form though.

If people aren't excited about a game, they aren't excited about a game. IF they are, they are. There is no HYPE threads dictating only Nintendo, Xbox, Playstation, or PC fans vote, everyone is welcome to vote in the threads and the outcome is a SW vote, not a single faction is to blame for if the game gets HYPEd or not. If a company doesn't make a game people want or get excited for...

In this case, the Order has been bashed on a lot here in SW with early demos to the wide screen presentation. The only positive spin has been graphics. The developer is known for handhelds and not really a well known dev to regular SW posters. The gameplay seems derivative. Quite simply, the Order previews and videos of the game haven't been generating excitement. SW denizens have responded in kind. Kirby Rainbow is an unknown quantity in SW (I know all about it, but I'm a Kirby fan), not many SW people are talking about Kirby all. It's better to have no opinion than a poor one when it comes to upcoming games.

I keep seeing people being all like lol cows lol the order lol at cows hyping the order. Yet i never actual see anyone hyping the order? Pretty sure it's anti-cows making a big deal about the order so they can harp on about it when it performs poorly.

I don't think even the most hardcore cow would expect this to get higher than a 7 unless they're a bit of an idiot. Previews have been lukewarm at best for 6 months now.

I doubt we'll see a HYPE thread on kirby. Buying The Order regardless.

The Order has much more flop potential given that there's nearly no hype for the Kirby game while a lot more Sony fanboy pride is on the line regarding The Order. The Order's QTEs they say aren't QTEs I imagine will be the subject of much ridicule, and not that I find QTEs inherently wrong or anything but it's such a red meat word for gamers to tear a game apart that if it is ever uttered sends the online mobs into a frenzy, I predict a lot of that. Though, what I find to not interest me so much is the sections of the game that essentially play themselves. Hopefully for the game's sake there's a lot more to play than gameplay videos have let on. Saying which game is a bigger flop aside, I see The Order easily outselling Kirby.

I don't see any sheep hyping Kirby up at all. While cows are hyping the shit out of the order like AAA status but they will probably hype it up with and A so it won't flop.

I have never been impressed by a Kirby game. The Order doesn't look like anything special, but I think it has more potential to surprise us and actually be good.

Kirby will be fairly good and it will score an 8.0. The order will most likely score A or AA at best after being hyped as the next best thing for cows as always.

Im willing to bet my PS4 that The Order 1886 will score a 6 or lower. Game looks lame, cool concept atmosphere, theme, and tone, but very lame gameplay.

Kirby is a Nintendo game and GS always hands out high scores for cute Nintendo games.

Exactly. Besides I didn't start the Church of Toad. In the beginning I was a lone guy who everyone thought was a madman who saw the light of Toad.

Let's not pretend that The Order isn't hyped. It has turned up in every single Biggest Games of 2015 thread that Sony fans have made.

So yeah, The Order will be the first major flop for sure.

Meanwhile, has anyone been hyping Kirby? Zelda, Star Fox and Xenoblade, yes, but Kirby..? I didn't even know this game was out this year.

Kirby is enjoyable and pretty well made, but the formula never changes enough or is anything groundbreaking so it'll never score above an 8. I can see the Order being anywhere from a 6-8

The Order is gonna flop. I have the CE pre-ordered, but only because I ordered it at 60 bucks due to a glitch on a website. So I'm essentially getting it for standard price.

I might cancel it though. I kinda don't even want the game anymore, and the CE stuff doesn't entice me at all. I can always pick up the standard version when it's on sale.

Loving people going on about The Order focusing on QTEs, shooting and cover, when most games in that Genre do the exact same thing, and we've only seen snippets of tiny sections of the game, it looks amazing, the gameplay looks solid, it's a story driven game the only thing i can see why people are hating is because it isn't an open world setting
