For those not buying the PS4, what are your reasons

I'm curious as I've seen tons of threads that just assume everyone wants a PS4. But I know I'm not one of them for the following reasons:

1. First and foremost, Xbox exclusive games appeal to me more than Sony exclusive games.

2. I genuinly am interested in the entertainment features the Xbox One will have, as well as the exclusive content and nthe ability to quickly switch between games, streaming and live tv. The possibility of more cable companies coming onboard with MS gives me the possibility of saving money monthly as I'll be able to ditch renting the box. Time Warner is first to announce a deal with MS and I hope Comcast comes up next. Those savings along could add up to well over a 100 bucks a year. PS does not the depth of these functions.

3. I think the voice and motion commands are cool features and interesting. PS4 does not have these abilities.

4. Kinect 2.0 seems light years better than the first model and my son was a big fan of it. I'm curious what developers may be able to do with it. The PSEye seems like a tacked on device Sony doesn't have much faith in.

5.Im a big fantasy football fan, so the Xbox One's app is something that interests me as well. Sony does not have this.

6. Turning the HD TV I already own into a smart TV with all of the above mks the Xbox One a clear favorite in my eyes over the PS4. PS4 in my eyes is simply a much more powerful PS3, and for the price I just feel a system must give me more than better graphics. And in that area IMHO the Xbox One clearly outshines the PS4. Having better graphics is the only thing I see the PS4 has over the Xbox One, and even in that regard I haven't seen the games yet that show it. For the extra 100 I can see the value in my purchase. But not the 400 for a PS3+.

So having seen everything, all the shows and demos, ect. If you are not buying a PS4, contrary to many beliefs that everyone is, what are your reasons? It doesn't matter if you hate the Xbox One too, or you're a PC or Nintendo guy or girl. Just curious as many seem to think everyone loves the PS4 to death.

I will get one at the end of the gen to catch up on the hand full of single player interactive movies that I missed. Should be able to blast through them in a long weekend :cool:

PC, X1, Wii U and 3DS master race will be my main flavour.

im getting one because it looks more interesting than the playstation bore. The only way ps4 trumps the X1 is in regards to specifications...if i was a gamer intersted in specs I would be a PC gamer. PSbore is just an upgrade of the PS3 and I already own one of those. So yeah.

My reasons are almost exactly the same as Shawn's (except for #5, I don't care about Fantasy Football). Xbox One is a better fit for my living room than a PS4. Not saying I won't eventually get a PS4, but it won't be anytime soon. Unfortunately we are in the minority though. As mentioned the PS4 is just a more powerful PS3, nothing really new or innovative. Not that there's anything wrong with that, for most people around here that's all they want. HadOne2Many

Because I have a PC. 

I'm not spending $400 for no games. I'll buy one eventually when it's cheaper and has games.

I won't be getting a PS4 because there is no reason to. I have a PC, 3DS and Wii U to play everything I'm interested in, and the Wii U has some good TV functionality as well. I use Nintendo TVii all the time and I also use it for Netflix due to the gamepad controls and being able to watch on the gamepad if I want while in another room. There's nothing new with a PS4 besides moving some motion controls to the controllers that aren't even designed for holding in such a way that you would play motion games with them. The only reason to buy either the new XBox One or PS4 is exclusive games, which generally make me yawn.CrillanK

PC, all I need to do is upgrade in about a year or two. 

I will be supporting Sony indirectly, if the offer compeling products. For example, through EQN or PS2, I might buy one of their headsets, or speakers ect...

Everyone except fakeboys like TC are getting a PS4. Whether it be at launch or a year from now it is gonna be everyones next gen choice. Not even M$ employees want a Xbone.

The ps4 has a weak launch line up in my opinion, and I prefer the Xbox One launch games and XBL. I will get a ps4 a year or two latter.
