So are you suggesting that a gaming company making losses every quarter is irrelevant to future support? Does reason evade you cows?
No, i'm suggesting you're a troll. Also, you're really stupid
Keep crying, cowtool. At least I can go to bed knowing that my xbox will have all of its features for years to come unlike you cows, who go to bed anxious about losing support the next day.
I'd expect it to be close, but a little less capable than the PS4 due to their lack of info at this point.
[QUOTE="Shewgenja"][QUOTE="RR360DD"]Probably means its just the same as the PS4. BoooringMBirdy88I'd like to point out that the APU in PS4 has a lot of Sony IP in it. So, that's not it. Keep showing that lack of common sense cows..... every statement is like a goldmine of comedy. Bring it, Jabroni!
As for the "supercharged" parts, or the parts that SCE extended, he said, "There are many, but four of them are representative." They are (1) a structure that realizes high-speed data transmission between the CPU and GPU, (2) a structure that reduces the number of times that data is written back from the cache memory in the GPU, (3) a structure that enables to set priorities in multiple layers in regard to arithmetic and graphics processing and (4) a function to make the CPU take over the preprocessing to be conducted by the GPU.
"We are claiming that our company is leading innovations," Cerney said. "And we certainly employed our own distinguished technologies for the PS4."

As I said in the super600 thread no where is this said and what is said could mean anything but the article does reveal a few things.
1. the next MS system exists and this developer has a dev kit and is producing a game for it.
2. the next system will release around the same time as the ps4.
3. the system either has no name or NDA specifically forbids mentioning its name.

It could be game over for SONY an day now. Then, all your PSN titles, your PSN accounts, your PS3/4 multiplayer, and almost every SONY services could be shut down WITH SONY. Do you get it now, tool?

All I said was that sales and profits are important, because no company can sustain their ecosystam WITHOUT them. Any rational gamer who's looking to invest in Microsoft and SONY should be more interested in how each company is doing financially rather than how many exclusives each company produces.
In otherwards there will be virtually no difference between it and the PS4.

Yes just invest in some company even if you don't like the games on that system or one that has garbage hardware so it will get worse multiplats. Awesome idea!

Norden started by focusing on the chips, including the 64-bit x86 CPU that he stressed provided low power consumption and heat. The eight cores are capable of running eight hardware threads, with each core using a 32KiB L1 I-cache and D-cache, and each four-core group sharing 2MiB of L2 Cache. The processor will be able to handle things like atomics, threads, fibers, and ULTs, with out-of-order execution and advanced ISA.
Sony is building its CPU on what it's calling an extended DirectX 11.1+ feature set, including extra debugging support that is not available on PC platforms. This system will also give developers more direct access to the shader pipeline than they had on the PS3 or through DirectX itself. "This is access you're not used to getting on the PC, and as a result you can do a lot more cool things and have a lot more access to the power of the system," Norden said. A low-level API will also let coders talk directly with the hardware in a way that's "much lower-level than DirectX and OpenGL," but still not quite at the driver level.
The system is also set up to run graphics and computational code synchronously, without suspending one to run the other. Norden says that Sony has worked to carefully balance the two processors to provide maximum graphics power of 1.843 teraFLOPS at an 800Mhz clock speed while still leaving enough room for computational tasks. The GPU will also be able to run arbitrary code, allowing developers to run hundreds or thousands of parallelized tasks with full access to the system's 8GB of unified memory.
Speaking of memory, Norden hyped up the 8GB of GDDR5 RAM in the system as the type of memory that's currently usually found only on high-end graphics cards. Calling the RAM "expensive" and "exotic," Norden stressed that you "can't buy this [RAM] for 50 bucks... that's why high-end graphics cards cost as much as they do." The 176 gigabytes of total bandwidth provided by that GDDR5 RAM are much more efficient than the 40 gigabytes a second provided by the standard DDR3 RAM used in most current computer systems. The unified address space should also cause fewer headaches for developers than the mixed architecture of the PS3, Norden said.
