I don't doubt it. Forza has outscored GT the last two times. I think Forza 3 WILL be the best Forza experience to date.
i love driving games but not driving sims. but i will buy either one gt5 or forza3 my choice will depend on which have better graphics and which get better feedback from metacritics.
I can believe that. Forza 2 is still my favorite racing game this generation and given Turn 10's experience crafting top notch console racing sims, I expect Forza 3 to be even better.
i think they are both going to be great games. i think that GT is goign to have the best graphics and forza is going to have everything else.iam2greenThe rumar is that Turn 10 has an incredible graphic engine to really try and show up GT5. This is the word on the street that Forz3 will have crazy good graphics this time. I saw an interveiw were one of the turn 10 developers was just saying that the brand new Forza 3 graphic engine is soo advanced and they were stoked that the 360 has the power and will really turn PS3 fanboy heads with Forza 3 this time.
Of course Forza3 will be king, just as Forza2 is. Most realistic and custimizable racing game and also has the best gameplay, Forza2 is a legend of a racing game, a car fiends best dream come true. Forza3 will only add to Forza1,2's legacy!
I use to love GT games, but since Forza has come out its been king, by a long shot. Graphics alone dont make a great racing game people.
Forza3 !! Cant wait!
Got a screenshots of Forza 3 to back up your claims????

I don't think he is talking about graphics...
He's talking about the stuff that...you know, actually matters.
Yeah...I can see someone has never played Forza 2...Forza's physics system isabsolutelygarbage, it feels like someone spilled a layer of oil in each track.

I bet you haven't even play forza 2 in your life.Forza's physics system isabsolutelygarbage, it feels like someone spilled a layer of oil in each track.

First rain, now oil, lol. Forza cars all feel the same, GT owns when it comes to handling and physics and graphics.Forza's physics system isabsolutelygarbage, it feels like someone spilled a layer of oil in each track.

I'm of the opinion Forza>>>>>>>>GT.
Cows like to pretend that GT is the "ultimate driving Sim",but when you think about it ,the series is really shallow and superficial.
It has nice car models, but the collision physics are hilariously bad,the AI is robotic and after all these years there is still no damage model. That just ain't good enough imo.

Yea thats wrong I guess, but GT5's car physics are just better. :)

Nope, not by a long shot. And yes, I own and play both games regularly. :)[QUOTE="tirralirra"][QUOTE="Trinners"]First rain, now oil, lol. No they don't feel the same but they don't feel close to what the actual cars drive like, GT on the other hand, makes the cars feel close to what they actually drive like.
Forza just designed a physics system and slapped it onto the cars.

With Assists on, the cars feel very samey, with assists off, they still dont chnage much whereas the difference between cars in GT is more prominent. I found in both Forza, i didnt have to adjust my driving style much at all, unless there were big differences like moving from a M3 to a Dodge Charger, whereas in GT, you have to be very wary of where the power is, the shape of the corner i was about to enter, the balance of the car, tranction etc etc etc Forza was too easy and therefore boring.Forza's physics system isabsolutelygarbage, it feels like someone spilled a layer of oil in each track.

:|You actually have to play Forza, or GT5 for that matter (lolz) to make a comment like that.
Otherwise it makes you look like a raging fanboy.

and I've played GT2, GT3, GT4, and GT5 prologue, not forza however, I'll be honest with that one.

Yeah, if that's true then why have actual race drivers used it to practice on the Sebring race track before the real life event and then going on to win the event? I'm not going to say the reason they won is solely due to their practice with Forza 2 but the fact that the lap times they put down in real life and in the game were incredibly similar.
Don't believe me? Take a look.
Forza 2 not realistic? Please.

This was done on GT as well...
It wasn't that the cars in Forza resembled real cars, Gt does that much better. Forza's tracks are just ridiculously close to real life.
Neither Forza or GT are anywhere near the top driving sims!Forza has already surpassed Gran Turismo as the top racing sim

Ouch, owned.Yeah but Forza has already longed surpassed GT as the top racing sim
GT is just gonna have to settle for number 2 quality wise
At least it will beat Forza in sales : /....maybe

Forza Is the best fan boys will just have to live with it.Travis_Odell
Professionals and real car enthusiasts say otherwise. But since this is system wars and everything goes by GS standards yeah it is difficult for sony fanboys to argue.
^^that was an objective statement.

Yes, and the fact that the lap times were incredibly similar couldn't be attributed to the driving physics. Right. :roll:What part :| What this statement is:that was an objective statement.
Yes that is fact, can't disagree there. But since this is system wars and everything goes by GS standards yeah it is difficult for sony fanboys to argue.
This isn't. That isn't even opinion, just a complete lie :|Professionals and real car enthusiasts say otherwise.

Yes, and the fact that the lap times were incredibly similar couldn't be attributed to the driving physics. Right. Not necassarily. There's, speed, traction, weather,. friction etc etc etc all sorts of things to account for which can't possibly be related from game to real life just like that. The fact that the lap times were similar simply means that they know how to play the game as well as drive well. I've played all GT and all Forzas. Gt4 and Forza 2 was were console driving sims were getting really real, altho i was very impressed with the diriving physics in GT3, specially with the A-Spec. I'd been test driving for Lotus for a few years before Forza 2 came out and i hadn;t played the first one in a while. I played on some tracks i've raced on before and got nowhere near my real lap time, but slowly, i got better as the game and i managed to beat the times i get in real life. Does that mean Forza presents its game quicker than real life, no, it simply means i drive better in a game than i do in real life. Please Log In to post.
