Why should I care about a paint job if when i'm playing a racing game i'm more focused on the performance of my car and how well I am doing in the race. Physics-the physics engine in forza runs at 360 fps, how fast does it run on the ps3

I've seen GT:HD running on my HDTV and same with Forza. No jaggles on GT:HD and everyone clearly knows Forza 2 is full of jags. Why don't you go look at GT:HD. The iPhone probably sent your finances to hell that you can't even afford a PS3.

No, they're not. I see a little stairstep around one edge of the car on the left side. You would see this even in a game with 4-8x antialiasing. Or possibly it's due to image quality. It's fairly obvious you're looking way too damn hard. Jaggies can only be referred to as jaggies if they are distracting, unattractive, or all over the place.

If you've got one little stairstep that's so minute on a 1280x720 frame that you have to sit there with your grandma glasses on and circle it so everyone else can notice it, that's just being a fair amount of ridiculous.

In other news, the Xbox 360 caps out at 4x antialiasing according to the Beyond3d Xbox 360 Demystified article, so what's the point. At 4x antialiasing you will get stronger jaggies all over the place than you see in that picture. But when you're playing the game, or not being anal, you won't notice a thing.

If you've ever played a PC game, you'd know that 2x antialiasing, which is the setting that Forza 2 uses (2x full-screen, according to Game Informer), still retains a large amount of jagged edges across the entire screen. Period.

Since GT 5 isn't out till Dec 1st and Forza 2 is out now you can boast, but you don't know how good GT 5 is going to be. Going off of the GT 5 demo I don't think the environmental graphics on Forza 2 are as realistic as in the GT 5 demo. forza 2 is a great game but ceverely lacking in content. Namely tracks and cars. It has like 12 interesting tracks to ride on and that's it. GT's tracks are much better and there are many more.

Those cars, I'd love to see a video of how they make those. Its insane how creative some of the people on live are. I took a look at the editor and no way I could ever come close to the detail in those pics. Amazing! Though I wonder if the people who made them bought the game for the gameplay or to make pretty pictures. It must take many hours to make those.
