Sony has such a rich history of racing games, surely people don't want to play Xbox games on their cherished device?

Horizon 4 lasted 6 years I think... if 5 follows suit then it has another 3 years on the market.

It would be weird to see Gears make the jump. Even more so for Halo. (But crossplay would be a nice way to boost the player bases)

i still have an Xbox Series X and look forward to what Xbox is offering in both the home and handheld console space..

I'm definitely getting more forgetful by the day.. but i'm sure i remember many of these same folks downplaying Forza Horizon 5 when it released but are now celebrating the idea of giving Xbox money for it lol..

This isn't good at all. We need Xbox to stay relevant and competitive. The Xbox brand needs its first party games to stay associated only with Xbox. I am heavily against Forza, Gears and Halo coming to PlayStation.

You have Microsoft giving up and allowing PS to be the only major console manufacturer, you get cocky Sony and the 2006 PS3 launch disaster all over again. Competition makes Sony good and strong as we saw throughout the PS3 and PS4 era.

in my free time, i game depending on where i'm sitting and that's mostly in the living room.. take a guess where my Xbox Series X is..

and you're right, i'm not defending Xbox.. i'm defending pro-consumer initiatives that benefit me: the consumer..

Xbox games have cross-buy and cross-progression.. Game Pass allows me to try new games risk-free.. as a consumer, the Xbox ecosystem is the best by far in my opinion.. which is likely why i won "Lem of the Year"..

Secondly it's not Xbox making more money, Xbox is a console, it's MS making more money. You need to get the basics right before you try to construct an argument.

For instance if MS sells a game on PS, that money goes into MS bank account as Xbox doesn't have a seperate bank account, therefore Xbox is not making money from it. Sheesh, you would think this is pretty basic stuff for most people.
