Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 features two rendering modes to choose from: Performance (60fps) and Quality (30fps).

On PS5 Pro, the Performance mode receives increased visual fidelity, while Quality mode adds ray traced car reflections to Races and Free Roam.

Hopefully there will be less popup on the Pro, DF said they found that distracting in the 60fps mode on Series and recommended the 30fps mode previously.

Maybe they should make a 40fps mode (and VR)

Not sure if I will play it, after FH3 I played FH4 only a little before dropping it and I don't know if the same will happen with FH5. I already skipped over it on Steam Deck and Xbox One for that reason.

Anyway sounds good for people who wanted to play it before but didn't yet.

They've been requiring this since Minecraft, they did it with Sea of Thieves, so I don't think they'll stop. Hopefully they will let you play offline though.

Not sure why having an MS account in order to play MS games on PlayStation is now problem? I'm pretty sure you had to do this with Grounded and Sea of Thieves too. I know you couldn’t even play with friends on Grounded without a MS account. Of course, if all you are doing is playing FH5 single-player portion, you really don't need a MS account for that but I'd be surprised if MS is really forcing this onto the SP.
