Forza Horizon 5 surpasses 1 million players before launch, from early-access alone

Last time Benjamin Butthurt had such a meltdown was when I caught him lying about playing Flight Simulator at 4k60 on his PC. Poor guy, every time a game comes out on Xbox he just collapses.

Oh the $100 is for the full game with the season pass? You're a bit late. Forza has done that since FM3 I think. There's the standard edition, which is no extra cost on Game pass. And two extra versions with added content and a season pass.

Sorry, most AAA games have been doing that since the 7th gen. Have you just been born or something? Yet somehow that's worse than Sony charging $70 for the base game of all their PS5 games going forwards.

This is unusual amounts of fail. Complaining about a version of a product or DLC from a product that MS aren't even forcing on people. How desperate are you?

My Xbox friends list is usually COD/FIFA this time of year... not this year though lots of people exploring Mexico.

Actually, the game has a lot of shit broken according to the dev team lol. SSAO, LOD and MSAA are broken apparently.

Sweet Jesus 1080p is fugly. Once you get used to 1440p+, there's no way of going back.

The simple answer is ... there's 12 months worth of PS5 content that you can purchase and play.

I'll be playing FIFA, Guardians of the Galaxy, GTA Trilogy, Kena, and, perhaps RE8, Deathloop and, Returnal.

Took a week for FH4 to hit 2 million players, to put this into perspective.

And more games will come out, so we have a large future potential for cow meltdowns. I think that we can officially say now that this thread rivals the legendary The Medium thread. The meltdown is certainly here in full-force. The Medium unexpectedly scored a 9 and the meltdown thereafter was inevitable. But how Forza, Microsoft's flagship title, can cause such meltdown surprises me. Every one knew this game was going to be huge, yet cows are still in shock.

You don't even have a PC you fraud. You thought your Series X would be hitting 8K/120 with all them TERAFLOPS! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This game is gorgeous. Really well optimized too. I thought I might have to install it on my SSD, but nah, my 10,000 RPM HDD seems to be handling this just fine.

Loving it on my Series X

I really can't play it at 30fps, but damn the image quality is surreal. Still rather play it at 60fps, looks good enough, just not incredible.

The game is so good looking that nobody posts their own screenshots.

Game is gorgeous but so far, I'm not really getting hooked on it. Just feels like a big expansion for Forza Horizon 4 really and I think I got my fill of the formula with that game + its expansions.

doesn't help that I've been playing Riders Republic which has a very similar design but much greater novelty and fun factor IMO.

FH5 is clearly a great game but also just more of the same. I'm not sure that's enough for me this go around

Yep, it’s definitely a very nice looking game for sure. Having a blast with it myself. Just love driving around and exploring. It always amazes me to see some of the great artwork that some people come up with in the livery to put on your vehicles.
