Their choice to make the game rated "T" is fine with me, but the result is pretty bad hit detection online. I Halo you see the armor begin to spark and crackle, in Gears and Resistance you see blood gush from the person your gunning down. In Uncharted you see... nothing. The bullets might as well just have gone right though them. Every so often the character will let out a yelp of pain, but that's about it.
Other disappointments abound in the customization options. Resistance 2 is still the only PS3 multiplayer title that has even come close to holding a candle to Halo 3's options. In Uncharted you have the same old assortment of "How many kills do you want?" Or, "How long you wanna' play for?" Additionally, they pulled a Gears-o-War and you can only play as characters seen in the single player game. Some might call this a good design choice for a single-player based series but I call it lazy. Give me some character customization.
It's not all bad, though. The online co-op seemed fun and the Gold Rush and Plunder modes were fun. Overall I am left with the feeling of...
... meh.
