Funniest game you have ever played?

No GFX kings, shooter kings or any of that other nonesense. Simply what is the funniest game you have ever played and why.

For me it was Conkers Bad Fur Day; I loved the parodies, mature humor and the gore was done in that funny over the top cartoony way. It had top notch gameplay too. I had my fair share of laughs playing that game and would do so again.

Sonic the Hedgehog 06... When the actual game started after the opening cutscene I laughed harder at that than any real attempts at humor any game has ever made

Same. Conkers Bad Fur Day was so funny back in the day, i wish they would make more funny games like that. Also very funny were The Monkey Island games and the Discworld games.

The characters are the funniest I've ever seen in a video game. Been playing for 2 years and I still laugh at the screams of the heavy.

Maybe The Secret of Monkey Island series and Day of the Tantacle. They had some of the funnest/best dialogs in gaming!

I'm replaying Monkey Island 2 right now (Special Edition) and after 20 years it is still amazingly funny. Also, the developer's commentary is pure genius!

The dubbing and writing is so awful in that game it's hilarious. "I don't beliiieeeve in maaaaaaaagiiiick" *holds up magic staff*

Conker for the same reasons as OP. I just love the humor in that game. Other than that, there are some notable mentions such as the Mario RPG series and Mother series.

The funniest game i've played is Fallout 2 when you make a mentally retarded character, that is, with1of Inteligence.I spent the first 10 minutes laughing madly at the dialogues. Oh good times were those!

To me it´s all about Grim Fandango,Discworld 2,Broken Sword,Day of the tentacle,Full throttle and the Monkey Island series.

It wasn't drop down hilarious, but Toe Jam and Earl was very humorous!I loved the whole Santa with a jetpack. Oh the memories!!
