Actually i found out some pretty interesting stuff; it's adapted from the "Worship" part of a 2006 documentary called "Jesus camp" which shows some borderline brainwashing going on.

How could you hate him? He was the perfect mixture of ballsy, cocky and confident. Plus he brought the intensity missing from so many shows lol and without violence.

Anyway, all the traits you mentioned made me love him lol. Except killing you know who. That made me pissed. Neer was so inferior and lame it wasn't even funny. Show should have ended after episode 26. Loved Matsuda though :D In terms of relevance, he snuck up on you. Like this:

Anyway, all the traits you mentioned made me love him lol. Except killing you know who. That made me pissed. Well somebody had to die and either way, we'd all be pissed that such a great character died. If neither died, the show would be stretched out longer than the average anime fight fought at the speed of light (I'mma looking at you, Dragon Ball). Neer was so inferior and lame it wasn't even funny. He's only supposed to show one aspect of L's mind. Mello enjoys sweets, Near played with toys, L played with his food. He'd have to be inferior. Well yeah, I meant neer was an inferior character in that I had zero fun watching him. It was boring watching him retrace L but in a less interesting way. Also, I knowhim dying was appropriate but it made me so sad :cry:
