Because they can and they aren't fans of Sony. It's up to Sony to make the moves to win if they still can. Mostly I think it's about price and the other consoles have always been lower to buy. Sony built a great system, but people are tightwads. Most people buy cars under $25,000. That doesn't mean that they're better cars. It just means that they can be afforded by more people. Affordability! That's how you outsell your opponents.

Like it or not, the PS3 is really just getting started. It's great exclusives are really starting to strike interest into new customers everywhere.

Just wait until Killzone 2, God Of War 3, Uncharted 2, Grand Turismo 5, Warhawk 2, M.A.G., etc are out.

Sonys only saving grace is that this generation of consoles will most likely last longer than previous generations. They still have a chance to get their act together.heretrix

Actually I just assumed that most people would realise that when I say no lag, I mean virtually, you read my post waaaay too literally, but honestly, Ive not had lag on warhawk for months, and that was when literally all 32 people were all scrambling for the flag, on a non dedicated server.

so ok, PSN is 99.9999999% lag free, happy now?

I just saw one of the games it said was canceled in PS3 news for a fuller complete version the other day. o_O;

But it overperformed when it had no games, high price tag, and 3 months less in Europe:? Therefore now that it does have games, a reasonable price tag, Sony brand name, Blu-Ray in full swing etc, there is little reason why it should be doing worse than it did late 07FirstDiscovery

GOW3 will move systems, I can promise you that.

The only question is how long it will take it to be released.Hopefully soon, Sony needs big titles like GOW3 and GT5 to keep its head above water.

"better" is subjective and an opinion. Which games are "better"? I enjoy Resistance 2 and MGS4 over Gears and Halo, does that make me right? No of course not.To say the 360 is better because of achievements is pretty silly. You would do better talking about how the 360 is cheaper than the PS3.

Really lets be honest, hard core gamers aside a "casual" buyer who does not have some type of agenda to promote or loyalty to a certain brand is going to give serious thought in the cheaper system. The 360 is the poor mans choice between the two.

I would be willing to wager the majority of "casual" gamers do not care about these silly little console wars we have on these forums. Most are more concerned with the economy and saving as much money as they can.

On a side note I am not trying to bash the 360 by any means, I can understand why people think it is a marvelous system. I hope they love it as much as I love my PS3. :)
