Yeah true but winning in 2011 is different, the same year games such as Witcher 2 and BF3 hit the shelves. They think that because of the graphics it has no chance.

Duke Nukem Forever for me. Seems to be getting loads of hype... for its history. But it doesn't look great.

If it does that is. Something tells me that it probably won't or has a slim chance against the god knows how many games for GOTY. This year going to be tight.

Possibly Skyrim as well if it has the same faults as previous Bethesda games.

I can see Tomb Raider flopping too. It just wasn't impressive to me. I will change my opinion in time if the devs do show something interesting. They just need to show it first.

SS isn't even trying to look good as real graphics, it's supposed to be like Wind Waker, a different kind of art style. Why don't people realize this?

Everything that isn't real graphics like BF3, is ugly? It would be cool to have a Zelda that looked real, but for now, I'm fine with this.

I have a feeling NG3 might flop too.

Duke Nukem Forever:
Haven't played a singe DK game and I don't care about them, but this game is gonna tank hard. People who played the demo say the graphics look like a 2005 game and the game itself is a COD rip-off ( with health regeneration , etc ) and that is a death certificate for a game that was going to be a homage to 90's FPS and gained popularity only because of that.

Dungeon Siege 3:
According to the trailers, this game is going to make DS 2 look like the best RPG ever and that says a lot. Also not a single positive comment from the people who played the demo.

Star Wars: The old Republic:
It might not sound like that right now, but his game will become one of the biggest flops of the gaming industry. You can quote me on that.

We don't know much about this game, that's true. But as long as Mike Laidlow is still in charge, it gonna be a bigger flop than DA2.


Battlefield 3:
EA is just trying too hard. This game is gonna get good marks and it will sell good, but it's no match for MW3 in terms of sale. And I consider that a flop for a crazily hyped game like this.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword:
Although Zelda fans won't let this game to become a flop, but that doesn't change the fact that SS looks like a low budget game from an indie studio.

Devil may Cry, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Duke Nukem Forever, Halo 4, Gears 3and Infamous 2

Forza 3 = 8.5

Zelda SS = 8

Batman AC = 8.5

GeOW 3 = 8.5

Uncharted 3 = 9 (Yes a flop not 9.5 or 10 as what cows expect :P)

Looks like Zelda and Uncharted are the most popular. Is it games you think will flop or you want to flop. I think SS will be better than TP but not WW and Uncharted 3 won't be as good as 2.

Zelda SS: Hype on this baby is AAAE but I see it barely eeking out AAE. Unless the puzzles are amazing and the gameplay more addicting than it looks I don't see SS meeting the hype. Floppage.

Skyrim: Hype is AAA. FO:NV scored a 7.5 so I think the plodding open world single player theme is wearing a bit thin. Everyone knows Oblivion was laughably overrated and needed heavy community modding just to be interesting. I could see Skyrim scoring 8.5, easily.

This is what I'm thinking as well. Of course it is possible that the game will be absolutely brilliant, but the Motion+ controls lead me to believe that it will be a more combat focused adventure. I don't own a wii, so I probably won't play it until WiiU comes out.

I could see Skyrim meeting the hype. It hasn't even been hyped that much as far as I'm concerned.

Halo HD I do not understand. I love halo and I love the older Halo maps, but I find it odd how MS hyped "includes some of the best mp maps ever made"---which essentially is badmouthing halo reach, etc.

I don't think it will happen, but I would like to see Gears 3 flop. Not sure what the Duke Nukem hype is, but I see it getting like a 7.5 at most.

I don't see how Rage is gonna succeed unless the feel of combat is as fun as FEAR or something. It seems as though they should have released the game back in 2006 when the concept would have been more refreshing and the graphics more impressing, not 2011/12(?) when Fallout's been done, Bordelands has been done and the novelty of a post-apocalyptic game's well worn thin.
