Farming Simulator, LMAO!
Apparently, girls love farming simulator. Not sure why G2A would make such a stupid ad. Lol
I think they need a new marketing head.

Disgraceful marketing. This isnt the 90s g2a, get with the times ol shitty arse greedy company.
"We recommend shooting terrorist for the men and cleaning the house for the women." - G2A
@ghosts4ever: You're just as backwards as G2A. The gender barrier in gaming is a thing of the past. Guys and gals can be found playing all the same titles, from Battlefield, to Halo, Minecraft, Mario, Overwatch, Counterstrike, Total War, LoL, Zelda, Pokemon, Mass Effect, Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Sims... I could go on but I think I made my point. None of these games are predominantly played by one gender over the other, lots of guys that get into collecting the Pokemon, and plenty of girls that can handle their own fragging in any FPS. And there's no shortage of Twitch streams to actually show this.
What ever "gender role" you think these games/genres have, or the medium as a whole, is just you projecting, that doesn't reflect the reality of the medium today.

apparently 90s is still far better than todays.

you missed my point. i never said girls cant play FPS. i said FPS main target audience is men. and yes the femenism is really ruining gaming industry. not every game need a female character.
please tell me is barbie and cinderella apeal to guys or girls??
@ghosts4ever: Barbie and Cinderella can appeal to both. If a bunch of boys want to play with Barbies, etc, then the market should respect them and cater to them also.
If boys want to start buying Barbies that dress in "boy" clothes and "boy" themes, then the barbie industry should give the people what they want.
What the industry shouldnt do is treat them like their opinion doesnt matter. "O, you want a Barbie that dresses like Ash Ketchum? Well too bad, Barbie is for girls!" - Barbie Industry.
I don't see the problem here, they simply listed games predominantly appealing to the majority of each gender.
Girls are partial to different things than guys almost across the board, shocking, I know..

Actually, many of these games cater to everyone. None of them have rampant sexism, nor do they say you must be a male or female to play this. That's like saying Tomb Raider was trying to appeal to women, which it definitely wasn't.
If they were trying to cater to mostly men, they would do what The Witcher 3 does and have blatant nudity and sexual scenes involving whores(which I'm not knocking, I love The Witcher series/lore and I love sexually gratuitous things). I know, lesbians and some women may love it, but that's an extreme minority in this case. Although, even in The Witcher 3's case, they still have extremely strong female characters that take up much of the story.

The point is still lost on you; I'm not just talking about who plays what, the "gender target audience" itself is no longer prevalent, again a thing of the past.
And you can't compare Cinderella to games; there's a world of difference between the two. There's static stories which can be directed according to a writer's vision who does have a specific theme in mind, and where it is passively viewed to limited viewer interpretation. Games on the other hand are an interactive medium where the story and experience as a whole is dynamic and open to the players input, which makes it adaptable to who ever is playing the game.
I don't see a problem either
The games listed for him are aimed at men, they get women players sure but they targeted and appeal predominantly to men
Same goes for the girls targeted at women.
You'd have to be daft to think that mostly women want to play Farming Simulator and not men... Even The Sims probably caters more to men, simply because more men play video games(console and PC, not counting mobile games here) than women.
But overall, both of them cater to everyone. There is no gender specific aim here for any of these developers.

Actually Tomb Raider has a huuuuuuge appeal to women, regardless of designer intent. Of course the first argument is that a hot female protagonist is meant to draw in the male crowd, which is hard to dispute.
None the less Lara has gathered a very large female following. And as a regular on the Square Enix (formerly Eidos) forums, I can tell you that has a every evenly distributed male/female population; and I have very often heard how women see Lara Croft as an inspirational role model, a symbol of female empowerment. The sexiness doesn't even bother them. Hell I've heard countless stories that it's because of Tomb Raider that a lot of women got into gaming in the first place.

I know it has appealed to women, but my point was that they were trying to appeal to both men and women equally when they designed it.
I'm not saying that it doesn't appeal to women, I'm just saying that that's not what they were going for.

Methinks thou art contradicting thyself.
Get with the times G2A, many women do enjoy Sims... WHY? WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

It's shocking for some weirdos.
One day in the future: manly perfumes aren't allowed anymore, the word "manly" will anger many innocent souls. They will ban Old Spice ads!!

How?
They were trying to appeal to both men and women, and they weren't trying to appeal to only women.
I thought this was clear, but apparently some people(@AdobeArtist) like to read in between the lines a little too much. :P
@DragonfireXZ95: I looked at that second line again; and it still looks like you were saying that Eidos wasn't going for a game that appealed to women in general, nothing about "women only".

The first sentence clarified that when I said they tried to appeal to both men and women.
Why are you arguing with me on this?
They're just giving a twist to the sale. No need to get up in arms over nothing, not that anyone is complaining. The tweet seems to be a lighthearted joke.
@DragonfireXZ95: the Sims seems more catered to woman.
Anicdontal I know but all girls I know who have the slightest interest in games like the Sims.
All men I know don't like it.
Gotta admit farming simulator is an odd one to include though.
All men you know? I'm a man and I enjoy The Sims. :P
Don't see the issue. Women like playing with dolls and looking pretty and men (real men) enjoy movies like Commando.
Makes sense action games would be oriented towards them.
@DragonfireXZ95: so do I actaully, the Sims 3 with its tons of expansions Is great fun.
It still feels like it's aimed at women, even though we like it
I disagree with that, simply on the notion that the majority of PC gamers(again, not counting facebook games) are male.
It's aimed at both sexes. Why do you insist that every game has to be aimed at either a man or a woman and not both?
Have you ever seen a men's magazines or women's magazines section in a supermarket? That is silly, too.
Although I cannot dispute that there are differences in interests between men and women in general. It probably makes sense for a majority and I don't think that there is any ill intention here.
@DragonfireXZ95: there always been things that appeal predominantly to men and things that appeal predominantly to women.
It's just a stereotype that on average the content in sims is more likely to appeal to women rather than men.
I guess I don't know where that stereotype came from. Do you know the origins?
I miss the good old days when it was alright for men to be men and women to be women. Now you mention a pronoun and everyone is triggered and needs a safe space.

It's still alright, but it's just stupid marketing for gaming. Games, for the most part, don't have gender biases.
I guess G2A is crap, anyway, so it falls in line with everything about them.
