Game franchises that need to die

There'd be no Halo 3 or Halo Wars, most of the Mario games would also be gone. They'd have stopped Metroid after Return of Samus, while we'd never have a MGS 3 or 4. Every Soul Caliber above 2 would be history. In short, there'd be no such thing as franchises, and the stories would always be without an ending.

All old PS1 mascot games like Spyro and Bandicoot should die. Stop naming POPULAR games that sell and do well crticially. I hate Madden...most of us do but doesn't mean it should die. FF MMO series should die. Or be renamed.

Need for speed needs to go away before it turns into pimp my ride. The older versions of need for speed were good but the new ones are just crappy.

Any and every movie based game needs to not even be created. Im sorry pirates of the caribean and spider man. I liked your movies but why the hell would i ever want to torture myself with a half assed port of a game of this genre.

Tomb Raider- you had a good run while it lasted but its so old i dont think theres any more tombs to raid.

And finally EA!!!!! if your going to monopolize the NFL atleast make a decent game. I know i know, it can get hard remaking a game over and over again where all you have to is improve it but somehow you manage to create more bugs each game than the previous one out.

Seriously, it's time for Koei to just kill this abomination. The entrie series is an affront to gaming as a whole.

3D Castlevania: Stay in 2D and out of 3D. No, step back, turn around, lower the whip, and stay in 2D forever. It's where you belong.

Why is everyone saying Mario? Has there everbeen one bad Mario game? Mario Party should end, of course, Mario sport spin-offs are pretty fun. But why kill off Mario all-together?

Final Fantasy - Going downhill since IV IMHO.

Mega Man Battle Network - Some would say Mega Man in general, but there are some of the sub-series that I would like to see sequels for (Legends, mostly). But the frigging BN series needs to end. I liked them when they were new. BN2 and 3 were great games, but now it's always the same damn thing, and they release multiple versions of the samegame which makes it even more of a dead horse.

Madden - Seriously, who buys this crap? I don't like sports games in general, but every year it's the same thing just with a new roster.

Crash Bandicoot - Worst created by comittee corporatewhore fuzzy animal with a 'tude since Bubsy. At least the games themselves were decent before Insomniac sold off the license.

Spyro - Another victim of Insomniac selloff. First game, great. Second game, awesome. Third game, good... After that, straight down the crapper.

Final Fantasy. Please, at least lose the Final Fantasy name, and have some spin off series, using the same gameplay and characters and graffics. Having THIRTEEN games main games with the name Final Fantasy, and countless Final fantasy spin off games with FF in the title (FF Tactics, etc). PLEASE KILL OFF FINAL FANTASY, OR AT LEAST THE NAME. accameron
