[QUOTE="HaloinventedFPS"][QUOTE="charizard1605"] Since the lowest selling Pokemon game is like 14 million sold, I am pretty sure they would be okay with those kind of sales again. Moreover, you forget that while in most generations, there is always a substantial difference between the sales of the first two paired games and the sales of the third one (like 18 million for Diamond/Pearl, 6 million for Platinum; 23 million for Gold/Silver, 4 million for Crystal), for the third generation, there was practically no difference. Ruby/Sapphire sold roughly 13 million units. Emerald sold 10 million. The overall combined sales of the third generation games are well on par with the other generations.charizard1605
emerald sold 6 million, R/S/E are the worst selling games
R/B & G/S were even in sales, since they were both incredible games, R/S sold worst since it was a downgrade compared to G/S, Emerald gave back all the cut features that should have been in R/S from the start
Oh yeah, you're right. Still, that puts the total sales of the third generation at 19.56 million units sold. From where I stand, that is a friggin success by any barometer, unless you are adamant on comparing Ru/Sa to R/B or G/S.its only like 4-5 million off the first 2 gens, it isnt much
they are pretty much all close, if you own a nintendo handheld, you might aswell buy Pokemon, another reason it may have sold worse is because of piracy, everyone had a GBA emulator
