Yep, I'm upgrading now to get those graphics, my new cpu should come in tomorrow, now I need more than 4 GB RAM.
mitu123
you really don't need more than 4gb's of ram for gaming.
what do you have in your rig now and what new cpu/gpu are you getting? :)
The shot with the white balls looks unreal...AAllxxjjnn
Look at that AT4 dude... the geometry, textures, lighting, smoke, hell everything. Plus the quality of the pics isn't so hot, so you can't even see the finer details. I have to grab this issue in stores.

AMD Phenom 9600 2.3ghz but tomorrow I'm getting a AMD Athlon II X4 645 3.1ghz, I got my 1GB GTX 460 a few weeks ago and I overclocked it from 675/1300/1800 to 850/1700/2150, and 3.25 GB RAM(suppose to be 4 but I have 32 bit, need 64).[QUOTE="theuncharted34"]

What's funny is that I got the best cpu of it's kind, though it isn't as good as the best Phenom II, but should do me well, I can literally max out 90% games now with my GTX 460 and weak 2007 cpu, imagine this one that came out 6 months ago.=p"-Better audio cues for certain actions, more easily able to listen for threats" This wasn't even bad in BC2, I thought it was very easy to listen for threats. I almost always heard them yell sniper, tank, etc. Anyway, can't wait!DragonfireXZ95
I wasn't a huge fan of the voice actors though. They need to strike a balance between the radio voices of CoD and the actors they used in BC2.

I myself am getting a 6850 and a phenom II x4 @ 2.8ghz. for my first gaming pc in 1 week :D

Isn't a GTX 460 slighty better than a 6850?:P It's great though. You probably have a better cpu though.:DIsn't a GTX 460 slighty better than a 6850?:P It's great though. You probably have a better cpu though.:D

Stock no. The 6850 has the slight upper hand. Overclocked though the 460 is a beast and easily beats the 6850.

yeah my phenom is better but not the best phenom x4 out there :)

I heard the 6850 was pretty good at overclocking too though. I won't be overclocking anyways :PFriendly Fire off by default? Thank you DICE, seriously FF has no place in Battlefield. You could say it is for realism but it just causes problems with jerks killing you for vehicles.

[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="enterawesome"]"PC is the lead version" I've expressed this before, but once again this annoys me. Why do people like myself pay extra for games like this and still get less features? "Why 64 players for PC? No complains from console gamers" That REALLY bothers me. Console gamers aren't stupid by default, nobody who might be planning on purchasing the game for a console would be pleased at hearing they get less features. In my opinion, Dice should just quit wasting their time porting an overpriced, stripped-down version and add more features to PC with the extra manpower. SaltyMeatballsThe problem lies with bandwidth. They can't do 64 players with hella destruction and vehicles within the limitations set on them by MS and Sony. I'm calling BS on that one.
Remember, they have to sync bullet ballistics between all 24 clients, destruction, vehicles, player movement and animations, and much more than games like Resistance 2 and MAG on the PS3. This is why BC2 plays much smoother than either of those titles did.
I like what I read and will be buying.
Hopefully I can get my PC built by then, if not I'll get the console version to hold me over for a little.

Why would people think they can all of a sudden put 64 players in the console versions of BF3 when they couldn't even put 32 in the console versions of BC2? Do people not realize this? They finally put an IK system in? About time. And about the mod tools they need to explain this more, " Frosbite 2.0 is complex and mods tools would have to be dumbed down", i hope they are not seriously implying that their engine is too complex for modding communities, but instead that it is a software limitation as the cause.ferret-gamer
Their engine is probably far to complex to try to distribute some sort of mod tool. The dynamic destruction of the maps is far more complicated than any other FPS engine out there.
I wish I had a PC that could play this game :(soulitane

Then I will have no money to buy any games :P Also PC parts cost quite a bit here.you could fly to the u.s. to buy parts, but then that'd waste money by flying... quite the conundrum indeed :P
I think if you have a ps3 and a wii you'll have more than enough great games to play though :)
If S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 doesn't come out this year then I think we have shooter of the year folks, and just for fun, lets guess system requirements.
