My personal GOTD is MGS4

But in terms of success (both critically and commercially) I think a strong argument could be made for World of Warcraft. Perhaps Pokemon as a series.

Half-Life 2.

Easily Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask or Metroid Prime. Two of the best games ive ever played.

Def Jam Icon. Simple and flashy. It packs a lot into the second you play it. I like this game and saying this is GOTD may be biased because this is a more modern game I think I've given enough consideration to the other games I've played and spectated before and after this one. In fact I think Def Jam Icon is the best computer/video game title of all time.

TF2, HalfLife 2, The two games i enjoy the most this decade.

Metroid Prime or Resident Evil 4. VERY close between those two.Superzone

Halo: CE. The multiplayer is extremely deep and has an immense skill gap - the LAN parties will never be matched. Halo 2, although still fun, was worse in practically ever way besides graphics - it's already aged more poorly than Halo: CE. Halo 3, IMO, is far and away the worst of the Halo trilogy, although I suppose it should win an award for having aged worse than Halo: CE the day it was released. The multiplayer is inconsistent, has the smallest skill gap, and is frustrating as hell. I would give Halo: CE a 10/10, Halo 2 a 9/10, and Halo 3 a 6/10. CE is timeless - 2 and 3 are not.
