No, I mean outsold because I do believe Halo Wars can outsell the big shooter Killzone 2.

It wouldn't be a good sign; a game in a weak genre outsells the exceedingly hyped and critically acclaimed important shooter in the very popular genre. I wouldn't like it, either...

Long shot. Gamefly is US only (where the 360 to PS3 ratio is far higher). If even then it barely edges out K2, worldwide it's probably going to sell less.

Do people actually believe that people will go to the store, look at the Halo Wars box, look at the back of the box and read the info, buy the game, take it home, put in it in their 360s, and be surprised that it's not a first person shooter?Or for those who say people will be surprised, can any of them elaborate what the surprise would be? :|:lol: Maybe it'll be surprisingly good.

Halo Wars is an overrated game.

Its a mediocre shooter and doesnt even do anything special, just like halo3.

Its obvious Killzone is a better game

These are the FACTS! both games are surprisingly good! a lot of 360 owners i know will be renting killzone 2! as well as halo wars! i think halo wars toppled killzone for the top spot because people were amazed at how good it was for a real time strategy! i thought it was amazing and i never play RTS! but this demo had me hooked. FACT Killzone was at the top of the charts because a lot of people are skeptical about the hype and would like to test it out b4 they buy it! as the demo didnt do anything for people except say...graphics r awesome and controls are weird.! FACT the NPD charts will speak for themselves when both games are released! In my opinion though Killzone will be more of a rental than a buy same goes for Halo Wars! although i will be buying Halo wars

On topic- Good news for Halo Wars. I do not think HW will get Halo sales numbers but it will probably sell well compared to RTS games.

Halo Wars outselling KZ 2 just means 2 things; 1. there's more 360 owners. And 2. Even though it isn't as good as KZ 2 it will outsell it because it's the best that 360 owners have to look forward to this year.patriots7672

Its obvious that Halo Wars tops gamefly because people only want to rent this game, they don't want to purchase it. KZ2 on the other hand people don't need to waste time renting; they are just going to buy it right away.

I fully expect Halo Wars to outsell KZ2, Sony has failed to market this game so far and if they don't they can expect standard sales for a sony blockbuster. You know, 1 million in NA 2.5-3million world wide. Halo Wars on the other hand will sell huge simply because of the name halo, sure its a console RTS but I bet loads of people will buy it that don't even know its an rts.
