priceless
Not-A-Stalker
I fail to see the connection with Crysis and this topic. :| Just looking for a fight, huh?
Â
the connection is... games they'll be missing out on
infact.. a lot of people will be missing out on the 'real' next gen
yet they'll be hyping their console games to oblivion
Â
The only thing in Crysis console gamers will be missing out on is semi-photorealistic graphics. Which is defiantly something a person can live without. :| Apparently to you, "real" next-gen is only graphics. Yet another elitist hermit...
Â
well you did a great job proving you know nothing about crysis, or next gen
don't worry, you won't realize what you've missed out on until next-next gen when you see what interactive enironments are all about
and i'm far from an elitist hermit.. i think you need a CS or WoW account for those... heck, i didn't even hype SC II
Â
I know enough about Crysis. I've been tracking the game since like last fall. :|
Interactive environments? You say that like it's new or something. PS3 and 360 games will have interactive environments. Ever hear of Little Big Planet? Everything in the game is interactive. :|
Â
LBP is my most hyped ps3 game (mgs4 who?)
it's not competing about the environment though... it's more of a co op geared game... which is where the console excels
doesn't mean it's close to crysis level... nothing is pumping the same amount of polygons there, and it's more of a 2d platformer environment than a 3d fps one
don't try to argue it though, the ps3 and 360 games won't be able to match it's strength
Of course it's not on the same level, PC is always ahead of consoles by a few years in terms of graphics.
But besides graphics, Crysis doesn't have anything amazing, new or innovative. The way you're talking, it seems like you think graphics=next gen. Which Phil Harrisons "Game 3.0" speech shot down months ago.
i beg to differ
if you can find ingame trailers showing me the same kind've physics we've seen in crysis in a console game, then i'll be impressed(fracture is more of a scripted environment)
and i've NEVER claimed anything close to graphics being the key to next gen
i did claim that a 600$ console would never be able to pump out a game as next gen as crysis though, and it's not about something looking as good in pictures
Â
i just dont get this whole elitism about HDTVs and 600$ consoles that you need to work for to earn. if you're gonna brag about being able to afford a high end console and tv, why avoid the pc platform like the plague?
