They won't be rehashes. The technical capabilities of the 360 and PS3 allow developer to do things they could not do last generation. After long exposure to the 360 I find myself unable to play games with PS2 graphics/physics unless they are in a genre I don't yet have on the 360. I can see 360 and PS3 games progressing in gameplay a lot more than Wii games and have yet to play an impressive Wii game that couldn't be done on the GC. I don't consider Wario Ware or Wii sports to be impressive if you were going to say those.

Those are the games I'm interested in. There is no doubt that there are good games, but your post showed an awful lot of desperation. It does look a little bit pathetic to try and convince yourself and others that the wii is the only console to get, when you probably know that there are great games coming out on all the systems.

I just worry that when you created a list of 45, a lot of them were party games, simplistic or remakes. There are quality games coming out, but theres an awful lot of garbage as well. And in my opinion, this is the problem with creating a console under the principle that is for all the family. Wheres my metal gear solid like game on the wii??? It doesnt exist yet, and possibly for that reason (kids want simplistic games, and a lot of the market for the wii is kids). Gears of war like game? Well, that wouldn't attract the women market so much, and they take up a large percentage. And so developers take this market and aim for a game which spreads accross a large spectrum, which usually means minigames, simplistic gameplay and hardly any story or character depth.

That isnt an attack on the wii, it is an attack on the developers, and that is where the problem lies, because i dont want a games industry based on what most of the developers are doing for the wii at the moment...
